MUSTANG_18 I thought I would get in on this little conversation. I think that steroids can be very beneficial to a person but saying that they are harmless or that they don't have any effect on your body is just plain ignorance. If used responsibly and in moderation then the sides can be minimized but if you go real heavy on the doses, eat poor and live an unhealthy lifestyle then it will catch up to you. I do not know anyone who has died directly from steroids but they can lead to other problems that may end up doing harm to your body.
Jeff_rys What about the Menzer brothers. Do you think it is normal for people do die before they reach the age of 50?
Ok, didn't mean to be so quick tempered..( no, not RR,,,I had 4 teeth pulled this afternoon ),,Pain Rage! lol
The most recent studies, which I've read but cant find right now, indicate, Especially in moderate doses, that test DECREASES the incidence of heart attacks, as well as helping osteoporosis, depression, numerous other things. The exception seems to be 17 alpha alkalated which are toxic to the liver.
But the guys that died would probably have Not died from the steroids, not that their dosages are good for you. It was the other drugs, and genetic considerations that did them in. Just look at the runner Jim Fixx,,,died at 43 or so, but his dad died in his 30's. An he never used. If you research the data, you'll find a surprising number of young men having, an sometimes dying, of heart disease, as well as kidney, liver, etc. None of us are immortal, but , from all the legitimate studies there is NO evidence of heart attacks caused by gear.
