How Many of you are guilty of this????

RADAR said:
This applies to the gym as well as diet.

INSAINITY=Doing the same thing over and over and expect different results.

There are some guys in my gym like this ,they do the same exercises everytime, yet they look just like they did last year.

RADAR

I always change it up. I never do the same exact workout. But I do have tons of half rep slackers in my gym......and after their 1/2 to 1/4 reps the walk around like they are hard and the size of ronnie coleman....even most of them don't even break the 200lb barrier......One day I'm going to just call them out on their technique and see what they say about it.

I make slight changes to my workout on a regular basis, but the basic idea has stayed the same and I continue to make gains.

I was using the same routine for a couple years with a few slIght changes here and there. Relying on juice for gains, only to lose most of them when I came off. Now I train DC style and it's the best move I have ever made in the gym. Been of cycle for 2 months and still making gains. Only been doing it for 4 months, but damn. can't wait to see what a year or 2 can do :)

i can be called a creature of habit. I always seem to get a bit rainman-ish when it comes to changing a routeen. I real have to force myself cuz i get in the mind set of "its working dont tamper with it"....

im the same, certain exercises i will do 90% of the time because they work for ME...after years of always switching things up because thats what everyone says or reads in a mag, i have found what works for me and certain exercises will always remain in my workouts...i make minor adjustments accordingly

To true as you get older you dont heal faster you just learn to work around the injurys faster .

Brad.

Screw that I live 100% in denial about my age and trick my body to think and feel 18. Thats how I stay young and continue to crush young pussy. :chomp:

On that note I still believe in not only changing things up but angle of the movement... Old school pro BB shit.

+1

How the hell do you do squats, deads and bench differently to make improvement over what you already get? I do the same damn excercises month after month, albeit in different order, and I make nice gains.
