How does the skinny guy gain weight?

Let me start out by saying that I am by no means looking to resemble a WWF wrestler, I am 165lbs and I want to gain 15lbs.

I'm an ectomorph, so obviously I can eat anything and not even dream of getting fat.

I want to know where I can find information on a diet that will work for me. Can anyone recommend a book? Or perhaps you are an ecto too and care to share your diet?

I know I'll have to intake 4000+ cals a day and 200g of protien if I even want to dream about gaining 15lbs, but I have no idea how to do this.

My body fat is extremely low, I have a sixpack from doing nothing, when I work out I get shreded but just don't gain any mass.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it.
 
6-pack withOUT working out?! :mix: I hate you people :verygood: j/p you should try a weight gainer to help you consume more calories, I doubt your mid section won't get too fat :heart:

maybe... but not all will be muscle

But I know for anybody, it'll be real possible to gain 1 lb a week, just as long as you eat enough :qt:
 
Well, I'm going to plan out a diet, get a good weight gainer and protien supplement and start on monday.

If you guys want, I'll take pics of my progress and keep a journal to keep you guys updated.


If anyone wants to adopt a skinny guy and be my 'E-Trainer' let me know ;)
 
Screw Nlarge...way too much sugar...either make your own with oats, anpb and protein, or get some muscle milk....good suff!
 
Yeah second that. Make your own weight gainer shakes. Secondly, if you want to gain weight, it's all mental. Even if you have a perfectly drawn up diet, that's only a tiny fraction of what you need to do. Be prepared to for the new body, but also be prepared to add some pudge.
