How do I lower TOTAL Estrogens (not just E2)?

I just got the results of a blood test back. I'm on HRT, which includes injectible testosterone and an anti-estrogen.

[60mg T-Cyp EW, 250iu HCG 2x/WK, .25mg Arimidex EOD]

When I got my labs back -- T was slightly above normal, which is okay, but total estrogens were too high!

Turns out, Arimidex, the anti-estrogen, only blocks ONE kind of estrogen, so that level is fine, but the rest of the estrogens in my body are going crazy.

How do I lower total estrogens?!

Moreover, my DHEA was sky high at twice the highest normal level. I don't supplement with DHEA at all. How the hell did this happen, and what can I take to kill DHEA?

Are you experiencing sides from the estrogen or are you just concerned about having your estrogen that high?

bump my total was 220 , i took some ldex and it came down to 150 , but still feel like shit any ideas

Well there are only two that you're concerned with. E1 and E2.

Yes, I "feel like shit, too" Aside from emotional disturbances and lethargy:

I have absolutely no sex drive. Not only is the urge gone, but erections are only possible via manual stimulation, and they're weak and don't last long.

Moreover, my hair is thinning rapidly. Not MPB, but all over the scalp, simply falling out.

I'm only 23.

Yeah! My doctor says the E is from the sky high level of DHEA. I have no goddamn idea how DHEA got that high. I never supplemented with it.

And yes, there are more than one "kind" of E. Estradiol, estriol, and estrone are the main players.

But seriously, how do I kill whatever is contributing to my estrogens?

Nolva?I dont know I thought nolva was a good anti estrogen but then again I am outdated on that side of the field.

Which anti E blocks both E1 and E2? Why did u choose Arimidex over Nolva & clomid?

It's strange that you doctor would say that.
He's giving you HCG and barely any arimidex to go with it. Of course your E levels are high. You need much more test. Your body should make 70mg/wk at your age if you were healthy, and you're only getting 60mg of cyp. Which is only about 45mg of actual test and your levels of test are going up and down with that because he's dosing a 5 day ester for 7 days. The sad thing is he's probably doing it just like the book says.
Get some dbol and take 5mg upon rising every morning with what he's giving you and you be fine in a week.

The estrogen is elevated more then likely from excessive DHEA levels which metabolize to estrogen as well as testosterone..Hmmm very interesting as to the cause of DHEA surplus.Are you taking pregnenolone by chance? You can't kill Dhea.You can only inhibit the rate limiting enzyme of pregnenolone to DHEA.
Are you taking Tamoxifen? as this will show up as additional estrogen on your blood tests.
Solutions: Proviron 50-100mgs/day to combat circulating estrogen or tamoxifen 20mgs/day if not already taking.Although it is agonistic/antagonistic. I believe it will be an antagonist at most brain centres ie.pituitary,hypothalamus and limbic system.So this may help with your libido.
Get in to see an endocrinologist,as he can give you more insight as to the causes of elevated DHEA levels.Maybe some kind of dysfunction of the adrenal glands.

Some causes of elevated DHEA levels:

1.Adrenal hypersecretion possibly from stress.

2.Low ferritin levels

3.Smoking
