I think it usually tends to be a set of circumstances...
my first degree had absolutely no bearing on my future "career" that i wound up getting another degress for and to further advance in the field im working on (on hold atm) degree number three
good thing the tax payers pay for my education![]()
I'm a huge proponent for internships, work-study programs, informational interviews, "day in the life of", etc.
I have known since I was a kid....assuming of course I keep going in my current field after I finish my PhD.
you have 2 bachelors degrees? what are they in?
I think I remember you posting a work, before? Perhaps I'm mistaken.......fine arts
How much longer you think until you're Dr. Nathan?
Less than a year, I think. Working on job applications now that start September 2011. It's pretty depressing though, let me tell you. A lot of the jobs are amazing, the trick is to not think about how many other applications they get for them and how few there are. Still, there's always finance. Or sex, I can always sell that....uh, well, provided I put in the extensive work needed to find buyers.
or finance sex. Low interest ho's. Easy payment plans.
how did you choose your career
I think I remember you posting a work, before? Perhaps I'm mistaken.
I was discovered
my friend is having trouble deciding and is curious
I work well under pressure, that helped... I got accepted into law school with a scholarship to the best university in the country I lived in but then I started analyzing that law is a degree that is pretty much exclusive to each country, each judicial system is different, so it dawned on me that if I went for it I'd never be able to come back to the US and practice my career, so I blew it off and went to all local universities to look at academic brochures (I had 3 days before all classes stopped accepting submissions)with all the different careers offered and then it dawned on me... psychology, Im not the loving, caring, save the world, help all people person, but I do have a kind heart and usually try to see the best in others, help them solve issues, people fascinate me, how we can all be so different yet so similar, etc so I really enjoy my career, my specialization I picked because I love working with seniors... everyone turns their back on them, family, law, even their own bodies sometimeseven though psychology is pretty sociological and culture based it's still pretty universal, specially neuropsychology and cognitive behavior ^_^
I work wonderfully under pressuredeadlines blow - but the ability to meet them sets you apart for sure.
I was discovered
Someone realizing you could take a fully 12" with no lube is considered "discovered"?
