How can i fix this?

Hi everyone!

I have a weird problem. I don't know where to start w/ this one, oh well. I have been using this Jergens Natural Glow for about a week now and after a couple applications i noticed that my inner thighs have gotten very dark. I suppose its from rubbing of the inners together and my inners are muscular from working out, their built up in there. I usually wait 5-10min. after i use it for it to dry and then dress. I wonder if it is rubbing also when my clothes are on even when i think it should be dry. This is a real problem for me since i love this product and it works well, except for this darkening. Yesterday at the gym i could see for the first time how off this darkening made me look against the rest of the color. I had short shorts on and i was taking a kickboxing class and its very bright in there and i was sooooooo embarrassed. I just wanted to die, i couldn't concentrate because it looks so off and weird. I don't want to wear any more short shorts in there until i can get this problem fixed. I feel so uncomfortable. Has anyone else had this problem and what did they do about it? I stopped putting the cream on the dark areas and i do exfoliate and i keep scrubing it but i won't come off. I am so frustrated about this! Can anyone help me w/ this please, i am so desperate but i hate to give up on using it since i do like the rest of the results. Any suggestions are sooooo welcomed, thks!

I think SHadow is right - dry skin will tend to cause a build up or uneven tanning in the dry areas. Hence, why you should add lotion to the knees, elbow and other dry areas BEFORE applying tanner. I would use a normal moisturizer to the area BEFORE applying the Jegen's product.

In the meanwhile, to reduce tanning that is already there - use a loofah or exfoliating scrub to help get rid of excess tanner.

Thanks Daisy & Shadow for your responses! I've been pmesing so i haven't been feeling well so i was just able to check the threads finally today. I have been using a looflah to scrub it off but boy, the cream is so stubborn, its like paint. I'm just waiting for it to wear off and i'm not going over it w/ the cream when i apply it @ night. :worried:
