Like DT noted about Dietex - if they don't say how much stuff in it you do have to wonder. However I can speak from experience that that particular product killed my appetite in the way that I didn't even think about food- like no taste for anything like it killed my taste buds. The way I knew it was time to eat was when my stomach started to growl or I'd start getting light headed (competition diet). After about a month of using Dietex I actually started to miss just having a taste for something - there was no enjoyment in eating - it was simply shoving down whatever was scheduled for the next meal.
What I might say is that if you are hungry all the time, are you eating enough? I cut on 1800 calories. That's not a starvation diet by any stretch, but it is a very rigorous & regimented diet of only the nutrients that contribute to my diet - i.e. 50-60% protein, rotating carbs & fats every 3 days. Changing the diet every 3-5 days in response to my updated bodyfat measure & training, etc. My thought is that your body tells you when you aren't getting enough fuel / nutrients. "Hunger", the kind that makes you want to eat stuff vs its time to eat is a different thing. If you've been on a very clean & targeted diet for 3 weeks (i.e. time enough to clear out & "detox" from any sugar or junk that you tend to eat & get rid of the cravings) and you are still getting violent hunger pains then I'd revisit my diet and make sure it is enough and the right combination of stuff. I'm a huge fan of carb cycling, so that may be an option for you as well.
I'm over 250 lbs and it took almost 2000mg of hoodia to kill my appetite....but then it was like I never needed food or water again. DesertBurn liquid is the best I have tried. You can literally never eat again if it works for you.
WOW!!!! 5lbs per week of pure fat-loss, its right up the DNP's alley, and all natural and side effect free (DNP can kill you). Too bad its physiologically imposible to loose that much fat in one week.
