Ok, so for the past couple years I've been living in Crocs, Teva flips, Dansko clogs and boots oh yeah and Nikes! I never thought I'd turn into sensible shoe girl! :rolleyes:

Anyway, so yesterday I was out working on rebuilding my wardrobe and tried on heels....OMGosh!

I felt so fabulously awesome and confident in them! So...looks like I solved my own fashion emergency. :)

Heels and jeans are nice!! Spend a few bucks and get a few nice pairs of jeans. Better watch out though, high waisted jeans are coming back in for women... Uggg!

I won't wear super high heels, I start breaking the 6' barrier and I get lightheaded. Plus, it's a little awkward, I'm only 1" shorter than my husband (no, he's not short, I'm 5'9").

well, let me tell ya, my feet were killing me!! Thats why I mentioned the 11 hours. haha. they still have not recovered. Those are the highest heels I've ever worn and I love them but I'm not sure how often I'll get them out of the closet! LOL.

Yeah, I'm only 5'5-5'6 so I actually look BETTER with heels, I'm a little self consious about the shortness of my legs.

I am really REALLY impressed with the members of the board, the way you guys have been defending one another.

Makes me proud to say that elite is THE ONLY SITE that I frequent. There is a whole host of reasons why I haven't frequented any other board since '05 but now I get to add one more HYUGE reason: RESPECT.
