High GI carbs for final carb meal?

I thought it was high GI, then low GI, then high again, only to be followed by one more high, before resuming to low again? Or it is low until you feel an anti-catabolic rush of test, then you switch to high to take advantage of the natural IGF-1 produced when one goes from high to low GI carbs at every other meal, not just the first three low GI......I mean high GI..........damn, don't wanna confuse anyone on this.

Now you've got me thoroughly confused! :D

It is a CKD with a 24-36 hour carb load of around 700-900 grams. I just read something about high gi liquid becasue you can get back into ketosis faster. I think I am heading to end my carb up with a big fat pancake with 1/2 of syrup...later

The only time you should be doing high GI is AFTER your workout.

Where did you read that? I've never done it that way personally - and never had trouble getting back into ketosis by eating low GI at the end of the carb-up. Just do plenty of cardio the day after the carb-up ends and you'll be okay.

i believe mr.x suggests high GI carbs for the first 2-3 meals on the carb up day, but i could be wrong.

best off checkin his CDK article to make sure.
