HGH for pain management.

My wife is 40 years old and has fibromyalgia, I've read that HGH can be good for injuries and pain. What about with chronic pain?

I would like to know people's experience or second hand knowledge.

Thanks

I have lots of cronic pain. HGH gave no direct relief. Aas test seems to plump up the tissues around the joints and gives me some pain relief.

However, the use of hgh and hormones together with clean diet, exercise and recovery results in better overall health. Makes sense that a healthy body is best to fight any disease.

She needs a different approach with hormones than a man. So her Dr should add progest-esto-testo as blood tests reveal. No experiments.

I think that HGH is also used after major surgery to speed up healing I am not sure if it is actually used to attenuate the pain that most experience after having surgery.

I got into a major lifechanging accident a little over 4 years ago. I now live with chronic pain. I have taken HGH since my accident and it did nothing for the relief of chronic pain

be careful too much hgh can cause cartillage in your body to grow causing a painful condition known as carpal tunnel.

I dont think you will find GH to help much in this area. Im not fibro expert but many of these chroinic conditions can be greatly improved by eating a very clean diet. Generally speaking following something like the zone diet and eating only from the preferred foods list clears up a lot of peoples problems.

I know this is an old thread, but if you are like me then you are reading everything you can on the subject to gain a better understanding. I am only 5'8" and 175lbs. I'm not interested in body building but I have always been fit and active. About 7 years ago I blew my ACL, 3 years after that I blew 2 disk in my lower back, (had surgery on both knee and back). I've been in a lot of pain since and put on weight because I couldn't get out and stay active. I have had permanent painful numbness in both legs from nerve damage.
I started on Hgh on the advice from a friend who broke his back. Starting in the second week, 60% of my pain was gone and it's only gotten better. I am slowly getting a little more feeling in my legs, I don't get headaches anymore, heartburn is gone, my skin looks better and I am more active than I have been in 5 years. I sleep better, I've lost weight and I have much more energy to work, play and exercise. I have no idea if it's right for you but it has been a life saver for me. I'm on 2iu humatrope ED mornings with zero sides.
Best of luck.

How will this work? What mechanism will clean food use to provide pain relief for chronic pain of any kind? Curious for sure.

I have been in pain management for aprox. 10 years and the only thing my pain management doctor prescribed me outside of pain medication, he also gave me Testosterone Cypionate 200mg per week to bring up my test levels because he stated that the pain medications cause your T-levels to be low, which they were.
