Help with exercises on legs!

I have a problem. I have a fairly good figure, but I do not like that I have thick calves on my feet. Tell me what exercises are needed to tighten them or to make my feet a bit more harmonously?

Hi there.

I guess we need to determine first of all if your calves are thick from being too muscular or having fat around them. Also sometimes it can also be due to water retention.

Unfortunately you cannot spot reduce. If it is fat surrounding your calves, you will have to reduce your caloric intake and increase your aerobic output in order to reduce your overall weight. You should start to see a difference once you drop bodyfat.

Another thing you can do is to start training your quads and hamstrings to match your calves more harmoniously.

I workout very hard yet I still have that place below my butt that I can't get rid of. I always think that if I do this exercise or that it will go away. The reality is that my diet would have to go from good to great. If it is fat then it is diet. If it is muscle then send some to me because I can't get my calves to grow to save my life.

You know ladies a funny thing about calves. Women used to have great calves but since most women dont do heels as much as past generations have the calves have dissapeared. If those calves arent all jiggly then dont sweat it cuz thats sexy and a nice thing to see. Just another perspective....hopefully helpful.:)

I have big calves from years of horseback riding, there is nothing I could do to get rid of them, they are part of who I am. Embrace it. I don't really work out my calves much on legs day, so the rest balances out more.

My legs have never been pumped ... and I haven't long engaged in fitness ... so I can only make the conclusion that I probably fat around the calves ...

at height 175 cm, I weigh 59 kg ... I think to reduce the overall weight of the body would be a bad idea ... my mom also had thick legs, maybe it is hereditary, but may have still some other methods to avoid this problem... what do you think about swimming?
