Help with Dr.'s Prescribed Medication

Torchy

New member
I have been given a prescription for Cylert. They have tried every other mood stabilizer and such. This is only a temporary solution, I know. Does anyone with any kind of medical brain know what I can expect?

I know it has bad tendencies toward the liver. I was looking into ALA and Milk Thistle, but am not knowledgeable as to what dosage I should take of each.

Also, I will be starting a new cycle. It will be a cutting cycle and including the likes of T3 and clen. I am aware of certain feelings toward the T3, but... I will promise to do the right thing:) Will either of these two interfere with the Cylert- as it acts on dopamine like other illegal speed like substances.

Please, I need to know some information. Give me a sign of encouragement that you have at least read my thread:D

Many thanks...

I'm bumping this up. I know it's the holiday weekend and people are away.

Anyone's thoughts as to how much ALA or milk thistle(what mgs and how/when?).

Thanks to Ann and Spatts for bringing it up.

:)

I can't tell you specifically about those drugs interacting. But I wouldn't advise mixing Clen with the cylert. You would definitely be risking too much CNS stimulation with this combo. You may find you don't need the T3 either. I would suggest you give the Cylert a trial all by itself while following a cutting diet and see how you progress. Give it 4 weeks before you decide you need that other stuff.

You also may not need the liver aids. You can have your liver enzymes monitored while on the Cylert, or just take a few hundred mgs of ALA and silymarin each day as insurance. There are many other liver aids you can also consider, such as N-AC and SAMe, maybe even SOD........but you don't HAVE to take any of these.
