help me get a good diet

anarki said:
Can you give me some specifics on some good foods? I'm not much on knowing what to eat thats healthy. I don't drink at all so I don't need to worry about that. Bascially running is the only thing that will help with it? What about biking? I like to bike but how much would I have to bike to equal 5 miles of running?

i wouldnt run that much... way too catabolic... try running a mile, or walking a mile atleast 3x per week.... run anytime during the day, walk in the morning... bike riding is good too... as long as youre doing something

5 miles is only about 40 minutes of cardio... that's a very acceptable time constraint.

walking a mile is for grandmas and grandpas.

im in about a same situation as you but the minimum should be 3 miles and I would say try to make it under 30 mins(which is plenty I think) anyways thats just my opinion on running in the morning.

diet is much more crucial. if you want minimal fat loss, take your time and diet the fat off. if you want to speed it up a bit (risky), run, jog or whatever. walking targets fat burning the best though.
