Hi, I am 22 and feel about 52 right now. I am curently 24 pounds heavier than usual and desperately trying to get myself going to diet and work out daily. I cannot seem to get myself to the gym regularly because I always feel physically tired, weak, worn out, and highly unmotivated. Any suggestions...vitamins, energy foods. How can I feel more energetic and motivated???:bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

Change your diet to 6-7 small meals. Higher protein, moderate carbs, low fat. Get some caffiene if you need it and go to the gym. Motivation: Just go to look at the guys...or I guess it could be girls. Whichever. Just do it. Once you get the change in diet, you should feel better. Even better with gym workouts. If not, go to your doctor and have a TSH done. This is a simple blood test to check for Thyroid problems. Loss of energy and weight gain could be caused from Thyroid. This can be fixed with some meds.

I need lots of coffee before I hit the gym, I really cant otherwise, I feel like you do. I shoot some coffee, and kick my own ass and get to the gym, once im there and start lifting, I cant stop.

I agree with Geoff, it's probably nutritionally related, but if you have a history with AAS or prohormones, you may have low free testosterone. Post your diet and supp history and we can try to help you find the root cause.

crazy as this sounds, the remedy for feeling tired all the time is excercise
yeah for the first few times it's gonna be tough, well no one said life was easy!
Just get into a routine of excercise, push yourself when you excercise dont go at an easy pace, your body will adapt and have more energy.
also assess your diet what are you eating now?

Go to the doctor and get a full blood scan. You need the doc to check levels of certain things to see what's what, especially thyroid.

As for what Babyfaced about working out to feel less lethargic, well let me tell you...It never worked for me. Granted when I'm working out, I feel zippy at the moment, but for the rest of day it does jack squat for me in terms of energy levels.
