Hello everyone! I need some help!

Ok heres my story, im 18 years old 6'3" and 135 pounds (i have been 135 for 2 years) I have a super high motabolisim (sp) as you can obviously tell. Im ready to change the way i look and feel, so next week i think im gonna hit my local gym. But the main thing i was wondering what is the best weight gainer/protine suppliment/anything else that will help me gain weight quick. Im fairly in shape as it is, but i wanna bulk up some, i would love to hit 185lbs i think that would be my perfect weight. So can you guys help me out? PLZZZZZZZZZ im begging here...plz :bawling:
 
I'm not sure if you are going to do cardio, but I would suggest not too!

6'3"...135...I guess you do need to gain...DDD is right though..... eat as clean as possible to minimize fat gains, but in your case, I don't think you should have too much of a concern with that.
 
ddc and beastboy, are you two insane? This kid is woefully underweight. My advice, eat high protein, but high carbs and fat as well. Gaining fat is low on your list of priorities now. I'm not saying to go gorge yourself on sweets and pizza. But, for the most part, EAT!! Eat whatever you want within reason but EAT and LIFT. Any fat you put on can be dealt with later.

That's why I said he shouldn't really be worried about it. My buddy was 6' 167 and has managed to get to 191 and 50% of what he ate was crap....he has put some fat on, but when your bf% is that low it is minimal.

what do you think oatmeal and brown rice are? CARBS!!!!

They are low GI carbs to be used primarily by dieters. This kid should be eating white bread, pasta, fruit etc...
 
first of all you need to have some patience, going from 135 to 185 at a respectable bodyfat percentage for bulking, not over 16% at themaximum isnt gonna happen. you will most likely be able to gain 25-30 lbs if it is your first time bulking and a lot of that will be fat too and that only takes u up to around 165, cutting that off will take you back down to 150-155 at the weight you started at and that will take an additional 3 months, so around 7 months for the process, so just beware dont expect quick gains so much that you get frustrated and give up. anyways what worked real great for me was 20X bw of 50/30/20 carbs/pro/fat, you might even want to do 22X bw b/c you weigh so little and have such a high metabolism, if that isnt even getting you 1-2 lbs a week after the first 1 or 2 weeks then up it even more. try to get pro from whole food first: chicken, fish, red meat, tuna.... and shakes postworkout must and other than that go for whole food. for carbs go for low gi: brown rice, oatmeal, sweet potato: also add in some fruits as it is hard to get a lot of carbs just on those sources, and postworkout go high gi: dextrose or maltodextrin iwill work. fats go for pb, flax seed oil, fat from fish... there you go that should be the base of your diet.
