Headrush after 1st injection?

Hey All,

I took my first Test E shot in my right glute. Did a test pull and there was no blood. Followed every procedure, got as much air out as possible (lubing the needle in the process) and The pinch didn't bother me at all.
It was a slow push trying to get the stuff into my muscle, but after 1/4 CC my head started hurting really bad.
I vocally reassured myself I was fine, but then my vision started to blur and I got REALLY DIZZY about 1/2 a cc, so I pulled the needle out and had a family member watch over me.

After laying down under supervision for about 5 minutes, I felt absolutely fine.

Was I just nervous/panicking? Or should I be worried about something?


About me: I'm ex-military. Have been on/off steroids for the last 5 years (bc of a thyroid prob) this is the first time I've ever injected anything into myself/first time taking test.
(And I've never been unconscious, not even for a doctor, and I've never fainted. Is that what fainting feels like? Could that have been it?)

Today: No pain at injection site. Never was. Looks fine. Feel fine.

its most likely your anxiety, or just possibly you nicked a vein on the way in and a little oil got in your bloodstream...

It was either a what Moya said or it was just a heavy dose of anxiety. Or both. My first time ever took 60 minutes to get up the nerve then im suprised i didnt snap the pin off while pushing cause i was shaking so bad.

of course if it continues for a longer period you might want to seek an ER or dr visit...

but i have had that happen a couple times myself...

I have fainted a few times from other incidents. I believe it is anxiety which leads to a panic attack followed by fainting. When I first injected I felt what you did. Just take slow deep breaths, think bout something else other than sticking a needle in your self, cold air helps. When its bout to happen my face normaly gets really hot and I can feel my heart beat in my head, then I black out. It's quite hard to explain but what you sed sounds very familiar.
Just to clarify this has proply happened bout five times in my life, but feeling just before i faint has happened many times, I have learnt to control it.

try using ice to numb the top of the skin and go into the delt. it will be painless and easy. also i dont think you wrote the size of the needle. who knows you might be using a 18G or something.. use a 25G for most oils, 23G for the thicker ones

I cant believe how "mehh" it is for me compared to how i started out zip, wipe, bam, done. Unless its a quad then its a little stressful and very slow.

try using ice to numb the top of the skin and go into the delt. it will be painless and easy. also i dont think you wrote the size of the needle. who knows you might be using a 18G or something.. use a 25G for most oils, 23G for the thicker ones

I'm using 23g 1.5inch 3ml.

I use it both to draw and to inject (different tips, same gauge size).
The draw is slow, even after heating bottle with warm water, and quite a few air bubbles as result. I'm thinking about buying a different gauge for drawing, any suggestions?

((I drew 1cc = 250mg. And got .45cc or .5cc in (115-125mg in))

Sounds more like anxiety bro, hitting a vein will cause pain but shouldn't have the dizziness associated. You have also to inject quite a bit of oil into a vein before you start feeling the effects and you can taste often alcohol afterwards.

no. 500mg a week. split into 2 doses of 250mg.
i bailed on the dose, worried I was gonna black out.

No man you'll be good. Just relax, tell yourself this is easy. Be careful to not hit a vein and always aspirate. You can even check spotinjections website to double check any spots you would like to pin.

Try sitting down and doing another injecting site, perhaps start out with a delt.

Awesome, you guys were very helpful.

2nd injection, tonight, went wonderfully. Went in the Delt as suggested.
Slightttt slight pain in the delt after removing needle.
But no anxiety going in just talked it down.

Thats only happened to me once after 100000000 injs i got abit dizzy but nothing to brag about.

My first pin was like that. I got light headed and dizzy, felt like the room was spinning. But I don't like needles so it was only anxiety. every pin since then has been fine.

It could have been caused by the same reason people faint when they see blood. Your body constricts the blood vessels to help you live longer if you were bleeding to death. Guess it doesn't take much, really, if you dwell on the thought of blood and sticking a needle in your body.

Not trying to hijack your thread, but I am worried about the same issues. I haven't even started my cycle yet (just prepping and gathering the necessary stuff) but I already have anxiety as I approach closer and closer to my first ever pin. Hell, I was trembling when I was holding my test-e vials (maybe excitement and nervousness)..but do you think that maybe taking a light dose of an anti-anxiety pill would help (like 0.25 of xanax) to kind of calm my nerves?
