I did POF, which is the absolute dregs of dating websites. It's easy to hook up, but so many psycho's and rejects are on there. People can tell if you've logged on and haven't replied, and the wierdo's will send you messages talking trash if you don't reply quickly enough.

When you come back tell all your admirers that you had to spend time with your mom as she is sick and you may have to put college on hold as you can't afford school and paying her expenses too.

I know. I just think that "in general" it's easier for a woman to date a man with children than it is for a man to date a woman with a child. Cause a lot of times it's the men in the breakup that cause "a lot" of problems and that bleeds over to any relationships that the woman may want to pursue.

Ya...I'm agreeing. It's changed a lot and so many men have custody of their kids now, at least 50% of the time. Lots of crazy female ex's out there. I always look at that in meeting someone.

Did you have a difficult relationship with someone's ex? Was she just not adjusted, always present, getting in between you and your guy or was she angry/difficult/making your life hell

Not me directly no. But you see it all the time on the dating sites and if you chat with them a bit, if they are stuck in the angry, bitter cycle, that's usually what comes out first.
 
I had to block my ex from my public Instagram account, and delete a bunch of pics because my ex was leaving comments like "stay the fuck out of my house, bitch" on pics of women. I'm almost fairly certain she's contacted women on my FB as well. I need to re-check my privacy settings on there, as I have no clue how she keeps so up to date on what I do.

My x did with my last wife. She caused so much drama it was crazy.
I don't want the mother of my daughters to meet anymore of the woman I date.

^^ agreed.

Traz, I was thinking about what words of wisdom I would give you for online dating. I would say don't go in with any great expectations, don't take everyone at face value and if you find someone you do have that "online connection" with, go and meet them earlier rather than later. You never really know until you meet someone. Be straight up about what you're looking for too. If you only want a casual date...say that. Makes it a lot easier in the long run.

It's almost like a skill you develop. You get good at reading profiles and reading between the lines. But it is a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack.
 
I don't know, I think I would feel a little embarrassed trying this...is it weird to feel weird about doing this?
 
I'm def. not ready for dating again period an I'm not looking to try this anytime soon, but just wanted to get some input for future possibilities
