Has anyone been following the story of the Chicago police officer (Peterson) who whacked his wife?

Apparently he had his cousin help him move a blue barrel the day she disappeared.. they now are searching a canal with divers as we speak.. Also his 2nd wife died as a result of drowning in a bathtub.. The DA has reopended that case as well..... Divorce is alot cheaper;;

its all over the news and radio over here. someone should just shoot the guy. there was one lady who called off an engagement and peterson afterwards routinely pulled her over and gave her numerous ciations for things like bald tires and other bs things. he also arrested her at her work for unpaid parking tickets she never knew of.

It also said the police had been called to his home in the last year on numerous occasion for domestic abuse, and the police officers were on his squad and they took no action.. They even admitted he had struck his wife on several occasions.....

His first two marriages ended in divorce, his third and fourth ended in homicide. I drove right over the bridge while the crews were diving in that spot yesterday and thought maybe it had something to do with the case. There has been an abundance of high profile husband/wife/family murders in this area this year. Really kinda strange.
