I have a razor called "intuition" and i love it!! It has the shaving gel around the blade and you dont have to have the messy gel everywhere.and it makes ur legs and everywhere else so smooth, without ingrown hairs.

I've heard good things about that razor from numerous people -- I'll have to try it.....

For exfoliating I buy a scrub (tangerine & brown sugar) from Trader Joe's for $5.99 & use that as an exfoliant......it has oil in it that helps with any "burn"

I too get ingrown hairs...it drives me crazy. I have found exfoliating makes it worse...I tried waxing too that was when I started getting ingrowns. I have to use a very sharp razor and soak in the tub to get a clean shave. Baby lotion helps sooth the irritation. A friend of mine is an esthetician and she told me to shave only in one direction and the hair will begin to grow that way and you'll be able to shave easier...but I always forget.

I have the same problem whether I wax or not -- waxing was a bit of a help but my hair never stopped growing back!! Didn't even slow down so I gave it up....

I have a friend who does laser hair removal....so she does my bikini line and arm pits free. I tell you what I would never pay for it. My hair won't go away....but I am a light blonde and I guess it works better on girls with the darker hair. It also hurts like hell to me lolol.....so now I just shave the crap off...less painful and works better for me...

This is exactly what happened to me. I now do electrolysis, it's cheaper and works better. Atleast after each treatment I'm hair free for a couple of weeks, this never happened with laser.

Bought the Intuition razor today....will try it out & see how it goes!

OK, I've used the Intuition on my legs, underarms & "you know where"

Legs - OK, no cuts, good job

Underarms -- some razor burn, still not a completely close shave. I seem to always be left with some "pin feathers" or very short stubble that to me you can see.

Bikini area -- the worst razor burn I've ever had!! Red bumps & itching like crazy. Awful. Think I'll stick to depiliatorys there....
