Help needed... I can't find any info on how long GW stays in your system and/or how long it is detectable in urine, etc. I might be tested in the near future and need to find out how long it will take to clear my system. Does anyone have any insight???? Thanks!

I wish I had an answer for you...but I have no clue! What about other sarms anyone have any idea on how long those are in your system? Maybe you could use that as a baseline idea.

Also just my .02 cents, unless its an Olympic caliber event or something I don't think GW will be detected on a standard test.

I dont even think that there are tests out for GW yet honestly.

But either way, the half life is similar to OSTA, so roughly 23.5 hours.

I would give it a solid 3-4 days before it would be totally out of your system, a week if possible.
 
I believe they can but unless olympics don't see it happening vs testing for the usual steroids and test levels etc

It will be interesting to see if/when the first person to test positive for GW!....I'd say 99% of general sports fans don't even know what it is.

Anybody else experimenting with GW feel free to post up how it's going or any questions!

I'd go even farther and say that 90+ percent of sports fans have no idea what a SARM is or any useful knowledge about AAS and how prevalent it is in competitive level sports.
 
i picked up some gw and aicar for my rats, anyone know how
much bw I'm supposed to reconst. 100mg(aicar) with?
any help would be awesome. i can't find the answer anywhere

Anyone experiencing pumps on GW?....i've been experiencing some pretty big pumps and while for most that's a good thing for me and my sport it's horrible. I race motocross and my forearms are pumping up pretty bad causing me to loose my grip which is completely killing any endurance benefit I'm getting. The pumps are almost as bad as when I tried to compete while on dbol's!. Any ideas on what I could do to reduce the pumps?....if not I'm gonna have to drop it, which sucks because I really like the way I feel on it and the added recovery helps alot!

Yea I was shocked. I first I thought it was just me, so I took a week off of GW and did some practice laps and sure enough didn't get any pump. Tried again with GW the next week and pumped up. I'll give taurine a try.

Haha no...I race motocross, but it's the same problem that runners get in there legs but for motocross it's in your arms...when your forearms pump up you lose all grip and hand/throttle function. it's a fucking nightmare! Lol funny thing is though I run/cycle A LOT during the week for training and don't experience any leg pumps.

Thats bizarre man GW shouldnt pump you up......it really doesnt have anything to do with that.

Unless, of course, you get forearm pumps while doing motocross anyway, then maybe it would add to it.

Yea forearm pump has been an issue in the past for me, buts it the same for anyone that races at a high level. It seemed odd to me too which is why I tried riding with/without it to see if I could pinpoint if it really was the GW. Which it seems to be....I'm really bummed because I've been struggling to find something to give me a boost in performance without pumping me up, and I thought GW was the answer!....maybe I'll try it with taurine.

Sorry, I have no idea about this but I am curious about your results while on aicar/gw combo so once you figure it out please keep us posted. I would like to try aicar but not willing to pin myself. Maybe someone will come out with an oral aicar soon.

I am running GW and will be adding albuterol before endurance workouts to see if I see a cardio benefit. From what I read 2.5mg is a good place to start. Anyone on hear running both gw and albuterol that wants to tell me their thoughts on this combo. Thanks!

I've heard good things about this combo and curious about it too. Are you using chemicalneed's albuteral?

A lot of the posts i have read take this stuff for fat loss - if there is anyone taking it on its own to get similar results please PM me as i would like to see what results i should hope to get.

I am primarily a cyclist but also run... but not more than 5/k at a time. I am on 5mg per day and I can't say that GW on its own causes fat loss but with training while in it I think I have seen a increase on muscle and decrease of fat. What other questions do you have?

I am a distance runner as well bro and I have never had anything increase my endurance and speed as gw has... it has been nothing short of amazing... i have been stuck on 6 miles a day for quite some time and have progressively been able to bump to 8.25 miles a day over the past 8 weeks I have been using gw, with a major increase in stamina and endurance... I have also cut up nicely... i have also been using albuterol alongside as well as ostarine and s4... the combination of gw and albuterol is excellent... i highly recommend it...

Just an update... I have been running GW at 5mg per day. I will keep it at 7.5mg for a few more days and if no change then I will up to 10 mg/day. I our bodies adapt to it so we have to give it more???

Its possible.

Your body down regulates receptors if it feels that its being overstimulated but I've never had this happen on SARMs.

It was my experience that after the first few weeks on GW-50 its effects started feeling commonplace.......so maybe its not that it isnt working as well, but just that you're noticing it less.

Dont be afraid to bump to 20 mgs ED too

you definitely need to get to the 10mg range... you are not getting the most out of it as you could be at the dosage you are using...

I agree... I upped it to 10 mg yesterday. Does anyone know if the effects are more prevalent within the first few hours after taking GW or is it a constant thing? I say this because I think I feel the endurance effects the most if I take it and then do a workout within the next two hours or so. If I have a workout shortly after taking it I feel like my HR stays lows, my power output goes up and I don't get tired as fast as usual. Can anyone tell me 1/2 life,etc. of GW?

its most optimal to take gw 30 minutes prior to working out... the half life is long but through different tests, its clear to me that gw is most effective this way...

Cool, thanks. Do you see any issues with putting it in a pre-workout drink but not drinking it for a couple of hours? I guess I am asking if it will somehow breakdown when mixed with Gatorade or another sports drink?

you need to just take it on its own, without mixing it with anything...

I say go for it!!....for your goals you'll be happy with GW...what type of bike do you do?

Oh and as far as getting stronger...GW isn't known so much for that...but on my run with GW I noticed a slight strength increase...maybe it was the added endurance that helped me push harder. Just my .02cents

GW not only adds to aerobic endurance but anaerobic as well. It has more effects in the weight room than people realize

I'm assuming you read this from mich's write-up:

It says it does, technically, but.. IMO and from experience: I wouldn't go as far to say it's anabolic on it's own, no. I gain mass abnormally easily; I can run winny by itself and be in a caloric deficit of 1200cals or lower and not lift and still gain mass, on GW I didn't gain anything. I got leaner. But I would say it helps you to not become catabolic.. There's a difference. It DOES however like I said improve muscle/anaerobic endurance which can LEAD to better gains in the gym.

If you try it you will like it. I started at 5mg PD and went to 10 PD but finally found that 7.5 mg PD works best for me. You still need to watch your diet to lose weight but I can tell you that your BP will go down and you HR will also go down. I love the stuff and have been running it for 2 1/2 months and plan to go another month or so before I stop for several months. One side I have is feeling warm all the time. I think I attribute this to a higher metabolism and/or fat burning. I also noticed at higher doses I would feel lightheaded, that is why I dropped to 7.5mg PD. I get mine from Great White... good stuff!

I agree that it increases your aerobic and anaerobic capacity but I caution not to take it before a race that you plan to go anaerobic right away. I say this because I took it about 1 hour before a criterium and went anaerobic for about 45 miniatures and think I experienced some mild rhabdomyolisis... but that is just my observation.

On GW I am leaning out and also making muscle gains. My weight dropped at first but then went slightly up as my muscle volume increased. I think it depends on your BF % when you start. My BF was low when I started and GW took it even lower. You will still need to workout on GW. It is not a take and do nothing solution.

I am also a cyclist. I would run it in the off season and also during the season. As far as I know you can run it for several months w/o issues. I am on a 3 1/2 month run myself right now. I have taken a few days off here and there. After my run I will take several months off before starting again. I am really curious to see if the benefits and gains I have seen on GW stick around when I am off of it. They DO test for it and it is on the WADA list but I doubt they are actually testing for it outside of the Olympics. If you are concerned about it I would be best to stop it before a competition. I do know it has a long half life but I am not sure exactly what it is. I take mine in the AM and run it at 7.5 mg PD. Try it out and I am sure you will like it.

I just like the thought of my muscles getting harder and fuller while cutting because of the extra nutrient uptake. I read a log on another forum and the guy said he was using 500$ worth of HGH every month and started GW and will never go back. He said its loads better and at 1/4 the price. I guess if used on a cycle I'm hoping it will work slightly like slin. Back when I was trying to justify t3 for bulking, I was having the same false hope that it would speed up protein synthesis while burning my fat off. Lol how wrong was I on that? Lol

Honestly when it comes to muscle hardening I trust S4

GW is said to have hardening properties but S4 really shines with that. You do know you can run S4 and GW together..

I didn't take aicar and i was fine. Some use it some don't

Winny and GW was good. Was like a typical winny run with a little more endurance doing cardio, no big deal honestly

Yea they have a lot of similar effect so I wouldnt think you would notice a huge increase in anything while on them both.

That Sarmssearch GW is some good stuff standalone though or with AICAR or albut like people are saying.

Yep, I'm running SarmsSearch S4 with my katana 3 right now, ill be running GW as a standalone for my second time. I love it
 
Read my current log, the sarmssearch gw is incredible.

The worst thing about running it is knowing you have to stop lol

I could start a log!.....hopefully I can show the benefit of GW from starting from ground zero with the exception of the base I've built up over the years.

This will be my fifth time In 3.5yrs of working myself into shape after Injury/& time off...but this will be my first time doing it with the help of GW. I can say it gets harder and harder after each injury... so the benefits that GW has to offer should be really noticeable for me this time!

I'm super excited to start another run of GW....I'm recovering from an injury/surgery and about to be doing a crap load of cardio to get back in shape....look forward to a little boost of GW!

Yea I think I'm going to have to run some SS GW here soon to help me knock off the finals week five quickly :chomp:

I could start a log!.....hopefully I can show the benefit of GW from starting from ground zero with the exception of the base I've built up over the years.

This will be my fifth time In 3.5yrs of working myself into shape after Injury/& time off...but this will be my first time doing it with the help of GW. I can say it gets harder and harder after each injury... so the benefits that GW has to offer should be really noticeable for me this time!

Yes, write a log, that would be great to see!
 
Starting ost and 501516 later this week after I get base bloodwork done. I'll be using it to take off my 'off season' weight while I'm in my base training: 2-3 hrs of easy riding/cardio everyday. With clean diet. Excited to see result of these too together with nothing else cycled with it.

Like sizzle said above...that's a great cycle...I've run osta and GW together and was happy with how I felt!...be sure to post up how it's working out for you...

I wanted to post up with results from my 3 month cycle of GW. First, I will say that I noticed that the longer I stayed on GW the higher the dose I needed to feel the same results as I did in the beginning at a much lower dose. I started at 5 mg PD and went to 7.5 mg then to 10 mg and tried 15 mg for a few days towards the end. Second, after being off GW for 6 weeks I can still see and feel results of higher endurance and leaner body. Keep in mind that I usually have a clean diet and I feel like when I have an off diet day or two the fat doesn't go on like before. All in all I am pleased with the results and will go at it again soon! This time I will be adding Osta.

I love my SS GW. I use it 2-3 times a year, I'm toward the end of my run, leaning up every day as always. Love it

I have a few questions, and by the way it's about time someone put GW in a thread of it's own,
1) Any appetite effects? was hoping it lowered appetite as I'm in a IF program trying to get leaner w/o sacrificing LBM
2) In my IF program I shoot for a mild ketosis as I find this favors fat loss, anyone venture weither GW helps one get into ketosis faster and easier? Or am I interpreting the research wrong?

I've never noticed an affect on my appetite, either increase or decrease.

I have a MMA fight coming up soon, in about 6 weeks. I am currently 13 lbs over my weight class. Not a big deal, I am doing a paleo diet and training a lot. Plus I plan to take away sodium towards the last 5 days and shed some water weight.

I would love to add GW-501516 for weight loss, but mostly for endurance benefits. I was planing on doing 5mg GW-501516 upon waking and pre-afternoon workout. So 10 mg a day total for 4 weeks.

1. After reading this thread I'm considering 20mg ED for the weight loss, thoughts?

2. Also based on the glycogen change; is my paleo diet a problem, or chromium picolinate supplementation with GW-501516?

20mg is perfect for what your needs...It sounds like you have experience at cutting weight, so with the work your putting in with the addition of GW, I think you'll be pleased with the results


Also what's the reason for the chromium picolinate?

I got the chromium picolinate to help my body utilize carbs and fat more efficiently, but haven't noticed much change beyond what my paleo diet and training hass already accomplished.
I'll probably drop it as soon as I get my gw-50 in the mail.

So 10mg upon waking, and another 10mg pre-afternoon workout. Do you have a hard time sleeping if gw-50 is taken later in the day? I'm already a very light sleeper.

Yea 10mg am & 10am Pre workout sounds good, I didn't notice any sleeping problems on GW, but I have heard of people having a issues with it. I feel it's more in there head though. But if you do experience any issues I would just take it earlier in the afternoon.

And if your not noticing any affect from the chromium picolinate I would drop it like you said, no need to take something that's not benefiting you.

I notice sleep issues if I take it late. I try to not take it past 6pm 7 latest

I just started sarmssearch GW today! It will be my first experience with it so I'm really looking forward to the great results I've heard so much about. I'm adding it in to my current cycle to help shed some bodyfat and get pretty shredded. I'm starting at 10mg per day for now, but I plan to go to 20mg at some point.

2 days of 10mg and my rats are feeling great! After they lift/cardio session they looked like they had already recovered so I had them hit the treadmill and run for a bit. I haven't noticed a change in cardio yet while in the middle of exercise, but as soon as they catch their breath I feel like they could do it all over again. Very nice recovery time, and only on day two! Also could be the placebo effect .....

GW is definitely under rated! I use sarmsearch GW and have been incorporating it into PH cycles with awesome results.

Can't wait to start my spring shred and kill it!
 
I just started another 4wk GW run... on my 3rd day and huge changes between how I feel between sets. I feel like each set is my first one. Also I usually run 10mg am and 10mg pm but I dropped back to 5's and I'm feeling pretty amazing still. Love it.
I went GreatWhite this time and definitely quality but tastes like hell. I usually go Unique which is absolute top notch as well but tasteless which is nice.

I'm really looking forward another GW run myself....I'm still early in rehab from my ACL reconstruction...but will soon be hitting the cardio hard to get back in shape...GW is my new secret weapon! Haha

Yep. When I feel like I need to get back into shape, and quick, I let my SS GW help with that, never let's me down

Go for it. A lot of us have started incorporating fat burners in with it.

Just be smart about it. Not that I've heard any negative complaints, but if this is your first time with GW, wait a bit before adding the fat burner in just to be safe

Have you noticed any stomach/digestive issues from the GW-50? ... I'm feelin it a lil today, but I blame the frozen yogurt I treated myself to.

Nah, not really. I'm stacking it with S4 and notice no negative effects like that
