got a good amt of fat in it, but it's a veg product so the fat is not going to be saturated. U can't really ask if a food is good or bad without telling us your goals/diet setup. Overall, the avocado is high in fat content. If you are on a low carb or ckd diet, this isn't goign to present as much of a problem. Post up more stats/goals.
 
think of an avocado as peanut (PB)'s more glamourous older sister and cousin to an olive
all have monounsaturated fats but tems good

fat has it's place and having been on atkins for 4 weeks and losing 2 inches and 25 pounds of shit no converting to ckd to build a bit of mass i must say i wish i had turned to this kind of thinking 22 years ago when i graduated uni and the flab was creeping on after football
 
still, in just one avocado there is a large amount of fat. For someone eating a balanced diet, regardless if the fat is mono or not, it's going to throw off ratios. My advice: avocados are a good food but are fatty. Substitute them for saturated fats when u can in your diet and use them in moderation whenever needed.
