Got my bench shirt...

It is cut, and I can't do a damn thing with it low.

...well, I can drop the bar on myself from 3 inches up.

I just completely come out of groove and have no support. It fights against my natural bench plane, which is insanely low.

I put on a double denim radical cut (and cut back) Inzer tonight...tried like heck to get 385 to touch :(

Yeah...and it is big for me...lol. Cheese (at 250) got 225 to touch. It flew up off his chest after a pause like it was shot from a cannon.

i aint mule but, are you dropping it towards your face or on your belly? The low groove is perfect for denim, try touching light weights with the shirt high and as you go up in weight start pulling it down. The cut shirt should allow you to get the shirt lower but sometimes it puts the collar in an odd postion(if you got an open back from Karin the collar would be cut a little lower) . Are you wetting the shirt at all ?

I concur

No, not wetting the shirt.

The bar can fall forward or backwards, just depends on where the groove throws me when I get out of it. Generally toward me since I'm sloping that direction, but it's well below the level where I can "JM it back up."

well thats better than dumping it on your stomach. try wetting the seams and working with some lighter weights, don't "run away" from the support that the shirt gives you. Control the weight down (you know all the rows you've been doing) drive your elbows in to your lats on the decent, after you touch drive up and about the height of a 3 board let your elbow start to flare out. Or better yet, come to Naz and have Mule show you exactly what I'm talking about...I think we are having a training weekend sometime in July.

"...drive your elbows in to your lats on the decent." Thank you...every now and then someone says something that just clicks with me. Like when Bob asked me which muscles I lower myself with when squatting. I can use this one...

I sent you another email...we have 6, maybe 9 of us, that want to drive up for the June 14th seminar, but I need to know if you have room for us before I start working on the logisitics.
