Good workouts for chest?

What do you guys like for chest? I am looking for some good workouts to gain size/strength and increase my bench press. I was thinking about doing 5x5 flat bench press for a few months, anyone know if that will be enough? I usually do flat bench press, incline bench press, cables, dumbells, decline machine, or wide grip of about 3 sets 12-8 reps. Not all in the same day though.

if you want to bench big then work on your triceps
 
all of the exercises you listed are fine for pecs, but it is not really pecs you need to work on. work the back, and on the same plane as you do the bench (ie bent over rows), and do close grip bench presses or board presses and overhead presses. chest work doesnt have much at all to do with bench work IMO.
 
My favourite chest routine is 5x5 on flat, followed by 2x8-10 on incline dumbell press and 2x8-10 on incline flyes. I agree with the fact you need to hit your tris hard too. My tri workout starts off with heavy close grip bench followed by heavy weighted dips

I too have grown to love this. It is seriously the best chest workout I have ever done.

And as CKing and lemur said, work on your tris and lats. Shoulders and rotators too.

What are some good tricep workouts that you guys do? How many sets ,reps? Can you 5x5 triceps?

Run a search on the 5x5 routine that needsize follows. The last post was very recent, so it should be quite easy to locate.
 
Hows this look:


Monday Chest/tris:

Flat bench press 5x5
Incline dumbell press 2x8-10 (the 10 means 10 reps correct?)
Incline flyes 2x8-10

Close grip bench 5x5
weighted dips 2x8-10
skull crushers 2x8-10


How long should I do this? Should I switch it up every week with decline bench or just stick to this for 8 or more weeks till I reach my goal?
