I oh course never had one....my hubby did...we had sex the next am! He had no pain, no swelling, no nothing....said if he would have known it was that easy he wouldn't of waited so long to have it done....he got his pain meds and never used one...you will be fine! WARNING....make sure you go back the two times they tell you to get a sperm count check...he stayed positve for about 5 months and we had sex all the time! So that is how people get pregant after their man has one....GO back and make sure you are at zero

Vicodin will be your friend.I couldn't walk very well for a week let alone want sex.Definetly go in for your sperm count cause you can still have plenty of swimmers afterwards.If your uptight about the surgery ask your doc for a shot of demerol.Just the thought of getting cut was driven me nuts so i got a shot and then it was not a problem.Good luck.It's all worth it when it's over.

When I had mine done 6 1/2 years ago I had no pain at all. I hopped off the surgery table, went to the mall and walked around and was back at the gym 2 days after. I had no swelling, no pain or anything. Everyone reacts differently but I don't think you need to worry.
