Glutamine~~~

Caps are way to expensive as compared to the powder. If you want L-glutamine, you should be able to pick up 1200 grams for around 45 bucks. Check out www.nutritionmegastore.com. I personally prefer the peptides, which are a little more costly, but I believe, absorbed much better.

i got the peptides from sportspharma. I prefer them over the plain l-glutamine but they're so hard to dissolve in water or juice. They clump up and stick together. Is there other glutamine peptides that can dissolve better than this?

RE: Glutamine

The only time to take glutamine is if you're cutting up. If you're bulking up, your body won't absorb the glutamine because you will already be getting enough from the protein in your diet. It's a non essential amino acid which means it'll just sit in your gut untill it's excreted. Check out the posts on Glutamine over at www.bodybuilding.com for more info.

I take glutamine year around, whether cutting or offseason.Your body uses up a tremendous amount of glutamine each day for immune support.Glutamine peptides have been shown to be absorbed much more efficiently than l- glutamine, but they don't mix well unless thrown in the blender with a protein drink.I like GP2 by Sports One.I am a big believer in the benefits offered by glutamine!

i use glutamine all the time. I like the powder form from AST. its pretty cheap and every bottle i've had tested met or exceeded label claims.

Proteinfactories Glutamine Peptides are way overpriced.

GP2 is what i'm using right now but it's so difficult for it not to clump up. Is there another Glutamine Peptides that wont clump up like that?

The only other g-peptide product I know of is OSMO's G-force peptides....not many places carry it though.

Kilosports.com

Kilosports.com has the glutamine peptides --- 1 kilo for...like 39 bucks i think..dont remember though. I bought it and like it..they noticeably decrease postworkout soreness to almost nil. i take 3 heaping teaspoons which is like 15 grams i think. good luck

can anyone verify this? I thought glutamines were an important part in bulking

Donald...that is a ridiculous statement.Glutamine is important to us year around. You do not get significant amounts of glutamine from diet alone.Especially not in the peptide form.Take your glutamine whether bulking or cutting!

unless you are taking Glutamine Peptides, i think regular glutamine can possibly be a waste when bulking. I say possibly because i don't know their eating schedule. And regular l-glutamine should be taken on empty stomach. Peptides can be taken any time. And to find someone bulking and taking l-glutamine on empty stomach is rare. Unless maybe you take it right after a workout, or before breakfast, or maybe if you wake up in the middle of the night too possibly.

Anyways, has anyone tried kilosports's glutamine peptides? Is it as sticky as the GP2 from sports one? I hate this GP2~ the stuff wont dissolve.

Risky..i think all quality glut-peptide products have the same consistency.Do you add yours to an MRP or protein drink? If so,put the gltamine in the packet with the powder and pour in a blender while it is on mix....it always dissolves this way.

problem is, if i don't put the glutamine peptides in a blender they stay clumped up. And you have to swallow them or start chewing on it (and that stuff gets stuck in your teeth bad sometimes). So i'm begginning to really hate the stuff. I don't always use a blender so that's why it's difficult and aggravates me.

hey riskybizz..

Im using kilosports peptides- do you have a shaker bottle?? I just put mine in my post workout drink and put the lid on then shake the hell out of it. There are tiny little clumps...but not bad, the peptides always make my shake a little more foamy, but it settles. good luck

Here is an example of Jabroni-ism at its best:

Stiffler ask's: are the caps just as effective as the powder???

if so is twin labs caps any good?

But I read every post and no one directly answered the question.

So I will: Yes, the caps are just as effective as the powder, more expensive, yes. easy to deal with and faster to take, yes.

Yes Twin lab products are good and I think they have a mega 1 gram cap that is swallowable so you can just hit 3 to 6 of them depending on how you like your Glutamine.

As for the Jabroni-ism.....I am not calling all you guys jabroni's, just think you exibited a certain quality in your response to his question.

But this is just this jabroni's opinion!
