eating right is the biggest problem i got when it comes to growing, im busy and always on the run and it seems that fast food is my only option alot of the time, but that shit stops now, im going to vons tomarrow and buying all healthy high protien foods, can u guys name some good food to get?

there's always the basics:

tuna, salmon, chicken, brown rice, oats, turkey, broccoli, steak, eggs, yams.
 
bro just stay away from fastfood it wont help you out... im always on the run and i past mcdonald B-K Wendys exc on the way to work and to the gym... so i know what you mean... load up on chicken never go wrong there...

Man O' Man, my heart says do at least a little research first. But, I guess I can help a little. First, you need to give more info: Age, weight, BF%, workouts, ect...

im 21,im about 180, 5'8, i work out 2 days on 1 day off, dont really know my body fat but i know im a little chubby on the sides ( god damn love handles...) and a little chubby on my stomach to, i went out yesterday and got a chicken brest, some beans, rice, and fish (40 bucks worth, which is not that much)

Most important now is, what is your goal? Do you want to lose fat, bulk up? What do you see yourself as, a bodybuilder, powerlifter...

I imagine from your description that you want to lose fat, but I'll wait for you to say that.

yeah im trying to loose wieght, and bulk up on the upper body. dont really need a 6 pack, and most important i wanna get rid of the love handles

Well, it's one or the other. Thats just how it works. You're either bulking or cutting. Don't make it to complicated to start or you will quit in two weeks. Eat 5 or six small clean meals a day. Start your day with an egg white omlett and a bit of fruit. A few hours later have some low fat cheese and some more fruit. For lunch, try a chicken pita (whole wheat) or something like that. A few hours later have tomato with tuna; for dinner try a small steak and a yam. Finish the day with a nice protien shake.

This is VERY basic, but it will get you on the right track. Don't deny yourself everything you like or you will fail. IMHO, it's better to have one oreo cookie a day than the whole box on a Saturday afternoon. Eat small meals every few hours, you should never be hungry and you should never be stuffed.
