Hi girls.

I'm back from vacation & I tought I'd change up my routine a little.

I usually train 2 body parts together, but for the next couple of weeks I want to train 1 muscle a day. I plan on doing bi's on mon. tri's on tue. shoulders on wed. & back on fri. Also throwing in legs, calves, butt, & abs.

But my main question is: If I only train biceps on a monday. How long do you all think is a reasonable but good workout to really train them & fatigue them. I lift heavy. pick 3 exercises. & usually keep my reps between 8-10 for 3-4 sets, because I really want to build muscle in my arms.

But if I do just biceps, my workout would only last 10-15 minutes. is this too short to have a good workout ? Or should I repeat the biceps routine a couple more times to push out say 25-30 minutes ?

I hope this makes sense ?

Anyone let me know what I should do ! ! !

Thanks ;)

Biceps are small muscles, it's easy to overtrain them. If you do 3 exercises and hit them hard, you should be all set even if it only lasts 15 minutes. Then maybe throw in a nice ab routine or something. ;)

Sounds good to me.

But also, what are your goals? If it is to gain muscle, then more time is not always better. You would be better off doing even LESS reps with a heavier weight.
