Anyone ever do these anymore???
I remember when I used to get bored with my routine in the gym I would do these and I'd do some pretty crazy things too.
Squat: 225 x 10
Leg Press: 10 reps
Hack Squat: 10 reps
Leg Extension: 10 reps
Leg Curl: 10 reps
Stairmaster: Hardest level for 3 minutes
I would go straight from one to another. None were done to failure...but the hack squats were always very tough to complete as well as the leg extensions and the curls. The stairmaster was done on the hardest (not fastest) level to the point where you just had to get through it...
There were several routines that I used to set up be it 5 different styles of squats (elevated heel, high bar/close stance, low bar/wide stance, 1 and 1/2 reps, front squats, etc...). I would just pick 5 or 6 exercises for legs and follow it up by 3 minutes on the stairmaster.
Our stairmaster was one where you had to make full range of motion steps...not the tiny steps that I see a lot of them doing now.
Anyone still do these???
