Getting Test levels checked, How to ask your doc?

Hey all, when i go to the docs office theres a paper on the wall that says basic blood tests are covered but other tests such as endocrine tests are not covered. this has kept me from asking for a full blood panel when i go to the doc and instead only have ever had my cholesterol etc checked. For one, what do i ask my doc for to get these tests run? a full blood panel test? two, what reasons should i provide if he should ask why?? im only 23 and testing testosterone levels at my age probably isnt standard practice

have u thought of just using general testosterone test like the ones they offer on pp?

Your kind of young to be having trouble so that might be a hard one if your Doc is Hip to what your doing.Being 33yrs myself mine didnt mind, said we should.i told him i had lost interest in everything, felt down in the dumps, no sex drive ect.........!

Yeah, I just said, "I think my test level is low because of *fill in the blank*." He suggested the blood panel and that was that. Of course, I'm over 40 so not in your shoes. If you're not experiencing any reason for your levels to be off, you can probably ask to have a panel done anyway. Doc'll make money from you or your insurance so he'll probably do it.

When I got mine checked I just came out and said hey Id like to get my blood tested, I feel like my testosterone levels are low, can you do authorize a full test?

I just had mine tested post cycle. I said a friend of mine who is a little older just found out his levels were really low. He is a little lower but is having a lot of problems now. iw ould like a base-line for the future. Worked. He authorized it and mine was lower than it should have been. I wonder why. Anyhow, that was only 2 weeks after I stopped a 16 week cucle. After an extensive PCT which included Hcg and Dermicrane Sustain, I had mine tested last week. I will know the results real soon. I will let you know
