I have read this. I get a lot of hassle from males I want to get serious with because I have slept with more than one male. I suppose this implies you can sleeo with anyone you want but at the end of the day you would only want someone of a virginial nature to settle down with.
Double standards in my book.

They made it an "announcement" sticky at the top. I'm surprised they posted it on the women's board. Of course, this will just give us a better idea of what type of man to avoid.

Don't ya love those double standards? I get them all the time from my family - like when are you going to give up on this career crap and settle down with a family...that one really pisses me off.

And women can have strong personalities but shouldn't have strong physiques. My mom tossed that one my way...

Luckily, I've started to change her mentality toward lifting - being invited to compete internationally helped a lot.

Yes.It seems all men find the idea o having sex with any woman OK. But, when thety want a serious relationship any woman who has done the same thing is 'dirty'. So who are these women and men who have casual sex?

It says a lot about our society, doesn't it? Hardly seems fair men get to have all the sex they want without any real moral penalty imposed on them, when women are immediately labeled as sluts if they act the same way.

If you guys don't mind a man's opinion I personally want to be the only one that has been with the one I settle down with, however I kept my self for that person as well. I think the double standards society sets up for women is complete bullshit. Its cool for pop's boy to lay his seed in all the girls he wants, but when it comes to daddy's girl she is a dissapointment if she has multiple partners. It is twisted and fucked up. Even though I marvel at the beauty of many women it stops there, I can't picture it going any further than that. I have everything I need and then some.

I believe it is important to model yourself after the one you want yourself to be with forever and not set up double standard rules for them and not yourself! It is all bullshit and none of you deserve it!!!!

Ladies, I agree. Unfortunately, announcements post on EVERY board, and there's little I can do about it. I apologize if you find it offensive. As far as I'm concerned, it's an insult to those responsible, not us. All the time that went into that thread could have been spent fixing platinum issues or handling other customer service related needs. Again, I'm sorry it's here. This board is not accustomed to such ignorance, so it really stands out.
