Getting Big(and small)

got a question here...
Ok, If I eat like I want to grow (aka, b fold style), I will grow. But, If I would like to lose weight, I would keep carbs and fats down. Would It be efficient to eat alot, but keep very low carbs, and still lose fat?

My primary goal here is to get to 200 or below by the years end, With heavy training. I am currently at 215. I have come from 265 in the start of July. This was without proper, or consistant training, and without any particular diet. I just cut cokes, and unecessary carbs (candy, alot of bread/pasta.. ect). Is this a realistic way to go about things? and although, while putting on mass, I may not make it under 200 by the years end, I will be trying my hardest for that. I will be happy with the gut gone though, (and the side gut's, bleh).

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Is your goal to cut to under 200 or bulk up? Are you asking can you eat a lot, gain mass, and still lose fat? If so, then my answer would be yes, depending on how you do the diet, and how new you are to training.

Yes, my question was.. to build mass, while losing fat. Since I have alot of fat, I figure a proper high protein/low carb/mid fat diet would work, Would this be correct?

Ie. Eat every high protein thing in sight (tuna, chicken, lean beef). While adding bread/carbs into 1 meal a day, or so.

By the years end is plenty of time bro. My training buddy lost over 20 lbs in that amount of time and his strength went up progressively.

What was his method? as far as.. did he go bulk unbulk, or ??

It was right after bulking for a while. He carbed down hard for several short intervals. Somedays he was pretty run down, but overall it didn't effect him that much. ECA was really the only mental fuel he had.

I think that you need to choose what you want to do first. Get rid of the gut or gain muscle? As others mentioned bulking and cutting are two different approaches.

If you want to burn fat, what you need to do is cut your caloric intake, say that you actually eat 4500 start by reducing 500 cals. During fat burning diets it is important that you lower carbs and fats down, while trying to maintain 1 - 1.5 g of protein per pound of weigth (this is to prevent loosing muscle). Remember to drink sufficient water with every food.

Regarding meal frequency dont worry try to keep it high, every time you eat, your bodies temperature rises and you burn more calories. In other words, it keeps your metabolism extremely high, which can benefit you, by keeping you leaner on a bulk and also burning fat at a much higher rate on a cut. Remember 1,000 calories diets dont work.
