Getting Back Into It - HGH and Reta Log

I used to be big into weightlifting when i was younger. As life happened, I sort of lost interest, got into other sports and gained a little fluff.

I've been on reta for a couple month now and lost a fair bit of weight, so now im hoping to recomp a bit and return to my previous prime.

I'm not running any AAS, as im still wanting to maintain fertility for now. I actually haven't got any experience with PEDs apart from Reta and clen, so this my first trying anything else.

Im 5'10 and in my 30's. Starting weight is 84kg (down from 93kg when i started the reta a couple months ago)

Training

I do a push, pull, legs split, along with recreation rugby and cricket. I stay really active with lots of watersports and outdoor activities.

Diet

This is the part that i will struggle with the most, as i like to eat and im not much for meal prep and the traditional bodybuilder diet. I will do my best to either track meals or track calories.

Goals

Im basically just wanting to get back into better shape. I dont need to be a massive jacked, shredded, super strong gym hero. I just want to have overall better health, drop some bodyfat and build some muscle.

I was pointed in the direction of this forum by a friend and @PeptideX was cool enough to sponsor me for a log. I was encouraged to run a log, as i've been told it the best way to keep myself on track and stay motivated.

24/03/2026 Log Update

Weight - 84kg

Training - Pull Day


2x10 chinups
2x5 close grip pull downs (67kgs)
2x10 row, 40kgs a side
2x10 dumbell pull over, 30kgs
2x10 14kg dumbbells biceps curl

Total time, 35 minute

My packaged dropped today so i was super motivated to train. Its the first time in a while i'd actually be stoked to lift.

Felt good to get back into it.

I was supposed to have a rugby game tonight, but we didnt get enough players.

Food

Breakfast - Coffee
Lunch - Boiled egg Handfull of crackers
Dinner - Butter chicken and rice

I was super busy all day with work and genuinely had zero time or appetite to eat. I know its not ideal and way too low calories, so thats something i'll need to work on.

Had i had the rugby game, i would have eaten much more.

PEDs

I split my reta dose into 2 x 1mg shots. Ill most likely get one in on monday and another on wednesday or thursday.

I'll be taking my first HGH shot tonight before bed.

The research ive done suggests that reta helps with any insulin resistance from the HGH, so thats good.

Im with you in regards to the traditional bodybuilder diet there is only so much poached chicken and rice you can handle

Reta is definitely a great tool for weight loss appetite suppression and many other benefits but if you still struggle to keep cals down you could try semaglutide or tez

Hgh will also help keeping you lean and mean depending what you want from the hgh you could also split dose and have your first dose fasted in the morning and get some cardio done this will target fat burning
Hgh before bed will aid recovery and muscle growth

Im more looking for the recovery and muscle retention from the HGH.

As well as generally health and anti-aging

Once i lock in a bit more i might dabble in some AAS.
