Getting Back Into It - HGH and Reta Log

I used to be big into weightlifting when i was younger. As life happened, I sort of lost interest, got into other sports and gained a little fluff.

I've been on reta for a couple month now and lost a fair bit of weight, so now im hoping to recomp a bit and return to my previous prime.

I'm not running any AAS, as im still wanting to maintain fertility for now. I actually haven't got any experience with PEDs apart from Reta and clen, so this my first trying anything else.

Im 5'10 and in my 30's. Starting weight is 84kg (down from 93kg when i started the reta a couple months ago)

Training

I do a push, pull, legs split, along with recreation rugby and cricket. I stay really active with lots of watersports and outdoor activities.

Diet

This is the part that i will struggle with the most, as i like to eat and im not much for meal prep and the traditional bodybuilder diet. I will do my best to either track meals or track calories.

Goals

Im basically just wanting to get back into better shape. I dont need to be a massive jacked, shredded, super strong gym hero. I just want to have overall better health, drop some bodyfat and build some muscle.

I was pointed in the direction of this forum by a friend and @PeptideX was cool enough to sponsor me for a log. I was encouraged to run a log, as i've been told it the best way to keep myself on track and stay motivated.

Weight - 84kg

Training - Pull Day


2x10 chinups
2x5 close grip pull downs (67kgs)
2x10 row, 40kgs a side
2x10 dumbell pull over, 30kgs
2x10 14kg dumbbells biceps curl

Total time, 35 minute

My packaged dropped today so i was super motivated to train. Its the first time in a while i'd actually be stoked to lift.

Felt good to get back into it.

I was supposed to have a rugby game tonight, but we didnt get enough players.

Food

Breakfast - Coffee
Lunch - Boiled egg Handfull of crackers
Dinner - Butter chicken and rice

I was super busy all day with work and genuinely had zero time or appetite to eat. I know its not ideal and way too low calories, so thats something i'll need to work on.

Had i had the rugby game, i would have eaten much more.

PEDs

I split my reta dose into 2 x 1mg shots. Ill most likely get one in on monday and another on wednesday or thursday.

I'll be taking my first HGH shot tonight before bed.

The research ive done suggests that reta helps with any insulin resistance from the HGH, so thats good.

Im with you in regards to the traditional bodybuilder diet there is only so much poached chicken and rice you can handle

Reta is definitely a great tool for weight loss appetite suppression and many other benefits but if you still struggle to keep cals down you could try semaglutide or tez

Hgh will also help keeping you lean and mean depending what you want from the hgh you could also split dose and have your first dose fasted in the morning and get some cardio done this will target fat burning
Hgh before bed will aid recovery and muscle growth

So i was planning to train legs but my whole region got shut down due to the cyclone happening. So im basically stuck inside until the storm warning ends. Fun.

Food

Breakfast - 4 whole eggs with wholemeal toast
Lunch - Homemade sausage rolls (low fat)
Snack - Protein shake with half milk half water
Dinner - Baked potato, oven veggies and lean steak

Got in much more protein and calories today. I know i should eat more, but im fine with an agressive fat loss as my appetite is pretty smashed.

Then i can rebuild more once im leaner.

Bodyweight dips - 3x 10 reps
Pec deck - 67kgs for 15 reps, 40kgs for 15 reps
French press - 26kg dumbell, 3x10 reps
Triceps cable - 21kgs for 10 reps, 17.5kg for 20 reps,

Total time, 35-45 minute

Due to the cyclone, there was no sport this week. My area has been pretty agressively hit, so it was risky to even leave the house for the gym hahaha

Despite my very low calories, im still decently strong (by my standards). I dont seem to be fading in the gym with zero energy. I guess i got bodyfat as stores.

Food

Brekky - The power is out for big parts of my area, so i didnt have power, but hungry jacks did. I swung by to get brekky, and just got a hashbrown and some eggs. I would normally have coffee, but not during lent.
Lunch - loaded (in oil) tuna wrap
Dinner - home fried rice and honey BBQ chickens wings.

The reta smashing my appetitie means i sort of need to get higher calorie protein sources. If i was like a locked in bodybuilder, i would dramatically change my diet. At the moment, its just getting in SOME calories with my smashed appetite and get as lean as possible.

Reta is still being split up into 2 shots of 1mg during the week. I feel like this prevents the drop in appetite towards the end of the first shot.

4 shots of hgh and so far im getting numb feet, headaches and some water rentention. I googles and its all apparently normal sides that go away. Im sure you boys are used to it by now.

Pre gym photo. Im not hollywood, but i think i feel a little leaner from the HGH. Might be just in my head.

In regards to you not starting any Aas yet as you wish to retain your fertility,
There are protocols available which help you to preserve your fertility & maintain your testicular size while on a cycle or while you are on Trt.

Taking Hcg at a dose of 250i:u Mon, Wed, Fri or 250i:u every other day for the duration of your entire cycle or while on a trt protocol will enable you to maintain fertility & testicular size.

There are other available protocols for doing this, which involve different dosages of Hcg apart from the one that I mentioned aswell.

Doing this also helps with recovering your own natural Testosterone production sooner after a cycle & can help with maintaining your muscle gains after a cycle also.

There are also benefits to using Hcg while on cycle such as having production of your body's own DNA matched Testosterone for an extra kick & it can help to prevent mood swings, low mood, or irritability sometimes caused by exogenous use of Testosterone.
Hcg also acts in the brain, often increasing cognitive function & mental clarity.

Hcg can reduce mental fog, fatigue & low mood & can improve emotional well being aswell.

Downsides to using Hcg in this fashion are that a small number of people could experience more anxiety.

Another potential consequence is that Hcg might elevate your estrogen levels, so it would be essential to have regular blood tests, although you would be doing this anyway).
