What do you think is the best idea, to take 4 capsules of Gear 3 times a day or to take 2-3 capsules with each meal? I was thinking that taking with each meal could be beneficial if the Gear makes the protein from the meal more available for use.

Either/or. If you're eating over 50 grams of protein in one shot, theres really no need. GEAR is best to boost low protein meals and to be used in-between meals.

Im hitting 5 4x a day, its a great peace of mind knowing im having that pretein floating around constanly, even taking a month off with injury ive been able to maintain my size using it

i keep a bottle of gear by my bed. and take it right before i go to sleep, as soon as i wake up, and probably once every night when i wake up to take a bathroom. is gear enough to stop catabolism from sleeping? or do i need carbs too. i was thinking about getting some better protein bars for this but i figured by the time i ate one of those in the middle of the night i wouldnt be able to get right back to sleep/.
 
what type of dosing times are you guys using for splitting up your gear doses throughout the day?

I typically take 3-4 with every substantial meal (usually eat 3-4 times a day).

Some right before bed is a great idea -- as is some as soon as you awaken. And no, you won't need carbs with it. There's always some glucose in the bloodstream (unless you're fasting or totally carb depleted for days) so the protein will be activated.
 
So if you eat a high protein diet and consume a high quality protein powder every 2.5-3 hours is gear still necessary to add in your supplement arsenal?

Reason being Ntbm has some kick ass products and since joining elite a few months back I haven't stopped ordering.

GEAR is a form of protein that is higher quality than any food source and can be taken in-between meals to keep nitrogen retention at near steroid levels. That's a pretty big advantage.
 
If I were to eat a salad that contained 0 protein and took 5 gear caps what would the protien value of the meal be?
good question bro, get in here Nelson lol. I'm definitely using this stuff next time I cut to help hold on to that prescious muscle Im busting my a$$ to get right now

Boo to you, choby, for reviving this old thread! When I opened this subforum, I about peed my pants with excitement, rushed over to NTBM's site, only to find it still sold out. At first, I thought that GEAR had already sold out AGAIN and I was gonna be SOL until it got back in stock! Talk about a rollercoaster of a morning! :o :)

Yes it is still worth getting Gear...4 caps pre/post workout, and a couple caps inbetween meals to keep nitrogen up...this supplement is in a class of it's own bro...and I too got excited for a moment as I have been checking daily to see if it is back in stock, but not yet. What I have been also using in the meantime...besides my last bottle of Gear :(...are Powerchews BCAA's, pop 4 pre/post workout, and curbs my sweet tooth on the evenings when I have the tendency to snack.

GEAR is back and we're going to do all we can to keep it that way. Best fucking add-on supplement on the market IMO. On, off, in-between, newbie, advanced, bulking, cutting -- more anabolism is always better.
 
Just got back from vacation! got my 1st bottle of gear and starting back up from my fast food diet/soda drinking to Killing Iron, dieting and trying gear for the FIRSt time. WOOHOO

i have now used gear on and off for abit alongside my mate and we both have come to the conclusion that if its run and dosed properly it is a massive edge, i sware its helped my gains on cycle and also on the sarms runs and bridges iv been doing. I feel its really good also if your a lifter on the move and very active, i sometimes fall short on protein or calories as i dont always have the time to create the perfect meal. It helps to make your body all the more anabolic and if you come up shy on protein etc atleast every gram you got can be used and is effective, il always try to eat exactly what i need but if i fail i feel this cushions me abit.
apart from this point our protein consumption is obviously a very important part of lifting and i feel any extra edge in this regard is very important, surprised to see so little people utilizing it, def a quality and solid edge for thos that do tho. just my opinion but i think its def worth adding to everbodies sup lineup
