Furry four leggers that served

Who would ever do anything like that? Nobody I know of!!!!
I would have gotten my dog released to me but the average IQ of a Vietnam conscript was kind of low. If you have a dick officer there isn't a lot you can do no matter your intelligence.

There was a slight problem when everyone "had" to leave. Not enough space for humans.

I have had K-9's all my life, all my best friends. Make a decision, me or K-9.

What happened there was not great, not fun, not rewarding.

This is not a good day to discuss this.

I toast today to all my fallen Brothers, I sat next to a glass of beer, an American Flag and a cigarette today. The note in front of those simple things said " To The men and women that went to combat and never returned"

It doesn't diminish the human sacrifice. These were guys that were trying to get their dogs released before the evacuation, and they are vets.
There are a lot of good men men alive today because of scout dogs. They should be honored. It isn't just the handlers but the troops that were lucky enough to have a scout dog attached that sing their praises.

To say I had a K-9 with us, yes we did. To say an animal saving a life, I was more than happy to have the men saved. There were a lot of good men that died saving each other. More than dogs as a matter fo fact. Equate something we breed to someone we can speak to. Then equate someone that we have been through hell and made it to something that licks our hand.

This a day to memorilize the men and women that served and gave their lives. Not to feel for the slow squirrel on the road. I might be harsh, but, can you get it? I spent years at Benning, I have seen the training that men and dogs have. Men and dogs.......

The average IQ of a Vietnam conscript was low? Son, we were drafted. This statement makes me so distressed I am going to leave this board for the night. Your statement is offensive. And by the way, as an Officer my responsibility was to my men, not my animals.
