Full time job personal training at New York Sports Club

sounds like a good job bro, enjoy yourself...Take some classes and become a female only trainer...You could work with the fitness models and competitors daily, now that's a job.;)

Hours aren't bad either. I requested working earlier instead of evenings even though I know there is more business in the evening. I'll be fine though. I work from around 11:00-1:00 until 7:00 at night. Weekends off. 30 plus hours here is considered full time so I get benefits either way. At Bally's you needed 40 hours no matter what to get any benefits.

Federal law mandates that large employers give health insurance benefits at 30 hours. Your employment there must have been basically a private contractor relationship to prevent getting HI.

Well they pay your hourly and if you really want to get paid you have to make sales. The more sales you make the more you make hourly. Like for every client you train during that hour you get paid like 20$ or so. But if you're not training anyone than you get paid less. I'm not 100% sure of everything yet. I start tommorow and they're going to show me around and tell me everything I need to know.

Congrats!

how was the pay schedule at Bally's?

I got a friend that just left NYSC in west caldwell and joined Gold's here in Belleville. But from I hear he got paid more and liked the atmosphere better at NYSC.

MIKE PT, which part of NJ are you from bro?
