Front Squats?

Does anyone do front squats after their normal squat routine? I just started (2 weeks ago) doing 3 sets of 8-10 front squats after my normal heavy squats to parrallel. I am thinking this will help the quads a little more since I never do any leg press anymore due to it messing with my back. Thanks for any suggestions....

Front Squats have been a core leg exercise for me for some time and they have really helped build size and strength throughout my legs and hips.I've found it best(for me anyway) to use low reps(1-5) as the higher reps can be more difficult when trying to hold the bar in proper position.

I train westside and I'll low box squat then do my front squats 3X 6-10 the only reason I do them is b/c I perform the clean&jerk and I need to front squat for cleans. I'm not sure how you do them but I know I hold the bar with my middle finger and pointer and it hurts my wrist to much, but I can't lay it across my chest and hold it with my hands crossed b/c i don't clean like that.

I will sometimes do them as a max effort exercise. In this case they are used to help my deadlift and are done off of a ten inch box. I do not do them as an assistance exercise as my quads are not a weakpoint in any of my lifts.

I am not a fan of high rep front squats in general, but then I started out as an OL'er and sometimes my predjudices show.
