Say one of you wakes up earlier than the other to go to work in the morning. How do you work that out as far as the one person trying to get ready for work without waking up the person who is still asleep? What precautions or routines do you follow to ensure you dont disturb the still-sleeping person? Is the still-sleeping person ever getting pissed for being awoken by the drawers being opened or the smell of products such as lotion or mousse or something?

I am one mean bitch, If he is sleeping i dont try to be hush. Well if he has worked and is tired I will be nice to him and try to keep it down. But surviving a hang over, screw that.I listen to the tv loud and let the kids yell.
He generally stays up later than me and he is nice and quiet for me.

My work clothes are in the basement. I get my gauchies & socks out the night before, & set them on the floor. My alarm goes off, & I'm out of the room in 15 seconds. all my "product" is, wait, I don't use "product". Except for cologne & aftershave, & they are in the bathroom.

She wakes up 30 minutes earlier than me and begins to do all that mysterious "stuff" they do in the morning.

I lay there and just doze and listen to news on radio. Then I get up and work out. She leaves about an hour later.

There is no conflict at all.

If it is a rest day and I'm awake and she gets near me .... she is going to get f*cked and go to work wet and sticky. :)

what are gauchies?
is that some kind of midievil costume?

our bedroom is on the 2nd floor. wife keeps her clothes in the spare bedroom downstairs and does all of her primping in the bathroom downstairs.

I guess I'm lucky on this one. It takes a sonic boom to wake her up. When I reset the alarm for her, I have to turn it up all the way.

my stuff is set out the night before. I usually get up before my alarm goes off, so that doesn't bother her. I get ready for work at the gym after working out and showering there.

For me....we had always worked the same shift......so while she had to be at work earlier then I did, I would always get up with her and have coffee etc

I am the one leaving by 5:20 am every morning -- good size walk in closet is a must, I do all of my prep the night before and just do minimum in bathroom and then head straight to the closet. Then gone for the day. If you don't have walk in closet -- setup a 2nd bedroom so after you wake up -- you head there to get ready.

She usually wakes up when I'm moving around getting ready. There is usually something that we have to coordinate before I go like, "the checkbook is on the microwave, don't forget to pay the housekeeper", or "call me at work to remind me about the baseball game".

Then it's a kiss and I'm gone, or if it's been a while maybe time for a quickie. Either way she's back to sleep probably before my car leaves the neighborhood.

We usually ask one another what time we are getting up the next day if we plan on diverting from the usual schedule so we won't be running into each other etc.
Either she or I will get up first and be done before the other.
Not morning people

Bathroom with a door so I close it before turning on the light.

I try and be as quiet as I can with the opening of door/drawers etc
and I am pretty good at know where everything I need is so I can
usually work in the dark. I put my workout clothes in the Bathroom so
I have all I need but my shoes/keys/etc in there with me the night before.

I have my stuff needed for the Y or for work already laid out by the front door
so I'm not in the bedroom jacking around looking for stuff.

awwwee, how sweet of you lolol

As soon as you wake up, put a joint in his mouth, let him sub-consciously breathe and take a couple hits on his own...that should sedate him a little so you can get's your 'aircon' on.

I just went through this a month or so ago.

I have to be at work @ 8:30am and he had to be to work by 2:30pm. So he went and got a second job at the Gym....LOL so now he has to be up with me in the morning!! It worked out great.

My wife is a morning person I am not....she get's up at 6:30 AM to let the dog out every morning and make cofee....she wakes me up at 7:15 and makes me go to the office....I come home eat and do my things...she's asleep by 9 PM and I usually work out at 9:30 PM and stay up till 1 AM or so..

I don't wake up @ alll when my hubby gets up........he sets out his socks, undies & Tshirt the night before and I don't hear a thing.....

Oh and we run 2 box fans while sleeping, so that covers pretty much any noise he'd make getting ready.....
