Did any of you ever skip your period on purpose? My girl is trying it and she noticed she was spotting a little and she dosent know if that is normal or what. I dont know much about this stuff.

on purpose??? WTF?

Im no chick, but I dont think thats possible... or is it with BC pills?

Yes, with BC pills. Some women skip on purpose because it is healthier than having periods every month. From a biological and evolutionary point of view regular menstruation was never part of the plan. I am just not sure exactly how it should work.

I believe it is normal to spot a bit when you skip your period via BC. Is this the first month that shes skipping?

Yes it is the first month. She is all worried cause she was bleeding a little this morning as well- I told her it was cause we just had a good romp.
Hey Raina- your a cutie! :p ;)

Thanks ladies...she is a bit of a hypochondriac sometimes. I will let her know and I'm sure she'll be pleased to know she is ok. She has been freaking about spider veins lately -she got a couple tiny ones in her legs and now she thinks she is an old lady(she is 23)- girls are silly sometimes.

Hey girls, my girlfriend is still bleeding, it has been like 8 days and she is supposed to start her normal period tomorrow(although we are not sure if she will or what). WTF would cause bleeding for this long? I am thinking she might have an infection or something. Any ideas? She is really scarred she might have PID or something serious.

I know it's not fun to go to the dr, but if something is wrong, she should really go in. There are lots of different pills she could take. She shouldn't settle for one that's not working well for her. If she thinks there's ANY chance that something isn't right, she should go in-- even if she turns out to be fine, at least you'll have that peace of mind.
