Carbs post cardio?? or not??

What is an ideal meal to have post cardio....not post workout...post cardio. Most of my cardio is done separate from weights and NOT in the morning...I can only get there in the evening for cardio....should I stay away from carbs post cardio? thanks bros

I'm not ripped, but attempting to get there. From my understanding you are suppost to stay away from Carbs Post-Cardio because your system will burn them instead of stored fat.

nah, the cardio will boost your metabolism but ideally you should still have some carbs to help replenish your system and remain out of a catbolistic state..

ill either have a shake or a meal with carbs..not sure on the exact 'formula' to go by but typically ill have at least 1 serving of whey with like 30+g dextrose

Well I know insulin blocks the release of FFAs, so in theory it does make sense to steer clear from carbs after cardio...def a meal with carbs after that meal...any other opions on carbs post cardio

Amazing how I've reached <8% bf..if you are doing something such as walking perhaps this can be a viable option.

If you are doing anything relatively high intensity I would definitely take a shake..

if you are determined to steer clear of carbs at least take whey in water/milk
 
I';m sub 8% and ALWAYS have carbs.protein post cardio.....it's calories bro...carbs arent the devil!

Nah def not, imma big fan of carbs (brown and green ones) but, for about 1 hr to 1.5 hrs some postulate that zero carbs are MINIMAL carbs are key? who knows I guess along with everything else, it's trial and error with your own body---thnx for the feedback bros!
