food for endurence

I think a lot of this is going to be conditioning. I used to try and hit sets of 5 about a year and a half ago, then tried doing some sets of 15 a few weeks later. Even with rediculously light weight... I was having problems.

Creatine and oats will help a bit, but you really need to condition your muscles so they are both trained to lift that many reps, and have a higher lactic acid threshold.

Thanks man, yep I am definitely going to be trying to do that. I just finished the first two weeks of HST doing 15 reps and it was really hard for really low weights compared to what I can do for 10 reps and I was thinking of incorporating 15 - 30 rep sets into any routing I do in the future, even if I am doing mainly 6-8 reps on that routine, to have at least one or two sets per body part also with high reps, just to cover the lactic acid endurence...
Definitely training in that rep range and I will eventually progress but I wanted to cover the food aspect of this also.

well If youre eating enough during the day 6 plus meals and your carbs are adequate you shouldnt have to many problems besides what drbones 2 has already shared with you. I trick I picked up from arnold schwarz. is eating a few grapes in between training sessions. Just a few though, not a meal. To my surprise, it was a great pick-me up
