Fishing advice

most you know i just moved to Washington state, anyways i'm wanting to start fishing again, i haven't gone in like 5 year, i was just wondering if anyone knew what the best kind of pole to way is, i'm wanting to go salt and fresh water, so i'll be catching huge fish(shark lol) to meduim small fish...should i buy 2 different poles or just 1 medium sized one? lot's of $$$

Barbells are always my favorite poles. The wide grip lat pull down pole is also a good one.
