Back in 2010 my boy and I decided to run our first cycle, idiots that we were we did an Anavar only cycle. I was on 60mg daily, he went from 60 to 120mg daily.
I was not doing too bad, but was definitely shutdown by the end. I felt quite lethargic by week 4 (No liver support) but pushed through it and did PCT and kept most my gains. My boy on the other hand had serious fucking problems. His PCT was shit and his lipid profile got shot to shits. From benching 275 for 12 reps at the end of the cycle, he became lethargic, shutdown and just generally depressed so he quit training for 3 months after the cycle. After the hiatus he was struggling to push 135 for 8 and was generally mopey and wack. Mind you before cycling we both had 2-3 years of training under our belt and were both benching 225 for 8 reps.
So Anavar by itself is toxic as shit, and it will shut you down mighty hard. 100mg will fuck with your lipid profile. Use N2guard, and for fucks sake, take Dylan's advice and drop it down to 50-60mg. Sust at 250mg should give you a good enough base to work on, you can bump it up to 250mg twice a week, that is still better than taking 100mg anavar.
I am on 350mg of Test EW and 50mg anavar daily stacked with GW. Been using Aromasin and N2guard to protect myself. Been making sick gains and feeling great ever since day 1. Drop it down man, there is no reason to be running orals at that high a dosage - EVER.
My max bench went from 325 - 425 in ten weeks, no fucking joke
My max squat went from 455 -525 in ten weeks
Was closing to a 600 DL but fucked my lower back
Body fat went down by 5%
Weight went dow slightly by 10 pounds
This is the strength gain I got from a cutting diet! I spent a lot of time designing my diet to reap the most effect out of peri workout nutrition and making sure all the food I eat feed the muscle and burn fat. The GW really helps with the leaning out aspect as well. I train 4-5 days a week and do skip ropes and ruck marches with 30kg backpack 3 times a week for cardio.
the moral here is that you can amazing gains of a sensible amount of gear even at an intermediate/advance level. So don't make the mistake I made the first time and just take it slow brother. Coz once you start with the roids and you do it right, you'll be wanting more in the future. Don't burn out too soon.
