Fine, I'll buy casein protein, but which?

I have this mental block against buying more protein powder when I have 15 pounds of whey sitting around, but as I learn more and more I now realize I cannot be having a whey shake before bed.

What protein blend should I buy to give a better release time?

Based on:

1) Blend (just casein? or egg/soy something with it?)
2) Price
3) Taste & Mixability

I tried a search but I am only allowed to look at like 1.2 threads now since not plat..

K awaits my protein guru friends.

why not just get cottage cheese, cheaper and lots of ways to eat it

I know real food is always a better option but I like to have alternatives in a pinch.

also, doesn't it have a lot of saturated fat?

No-fat CC has 0 saturated fat

but CC is rich in lactose
:worried:

Lol, thanks bro. I tried FF CC but I really thought it tasted bad. But my tastes could have changed since then

Damn, it's hard to get a protein blend recco around these parts. :)

BTW, whey protein + fiber # casein

does that mean whey protein plus fiber does not equal casein?

I've never seen # in an equation before

I don't understand what you're trying to tell me bor

ooooohhhh that looks like gooooooood stuff, thx juve

still wondering what anthrax was talking about though

"#" means "almost equal"

because fiber will delay whey absorption

OK, greatness.

Next Question: How much fiber? And what are some good ways to get fiber at night (without eating carbs!)
