Find it hard to bulk up.

I have just turned 17, I'm 5ft 9 and I'm 11 stone(150 pounds). For the past month and a half I have been eating about 3,600 calories on school days and more on the weekends. When I started bulking up I has about a pound or 2 heavy but noticed that I have gotten a small bit bigger. All the foods I eat are healthy and haven't touched junk food for the past month and a half. Should I put chocolate in my diet to help me bulk up?

I'm no expert but you really need to eat even more. Use things like olive oil and higher end calorie foods to get a surplus diet. Chocolate isn't some magic food that will make you gain weight. 100 calories of fruit and 100 calories of chocolate will do the same thing to you as far as composition. Im not saying to eat junk food, but don't cut all treats out of your diet. It only leads to failure.

Work out 2 days per week, 3 days max. Do a 5x5 typs of workout. I really really like Strong Lifts 5x5.
Keep your activity level moderate. Do this and you should be g2g.

Yeah i'm thinking this too, more calories may not be the answer. could be training instensity, recovery time, over training, not enough rest. There are alot of factors that come into play here
