Finally good news...

I have just finished tapering off of an anti-d and feel great, stopped gaining so much d*** weight, and in fact have just started losing. I have not found out what my back injury is specifically (although I have been told that the "hematoma on my right glute is calcifying" and contributing to some nerve aggravation:confused: . Anyone care to explain what calcifying is?) But I have been able to begin some weight training again albeit light. I swear after my first session I was high! Boy, did I have an endorphin rush:D

It feels so good to get back to normal. :)

Thanks, Spatts! You have a lil med school training dont you? Have you ever heard of a hematoma "calcifying"? The one I have is getting hard but I equate calcifying with hardening as in bones. Anyone else able to shed some light here?

Yeah, basically. I am not satisfied with his treatment because he treated me like a complete idiot. I have a visit with a new pcp in 6 weeks. As long as I am not have any other problems with my back, I can wait that long. Former doc just wanted to treat symptoms and not cause (read dope me up). I only use meds when absolutely necessary.

Thanks for verifying what I was thinking about the calcification. Now if I could figure out a way to move this lump down a little so I could have a little more booty:p

I think I've only ever met about 2 medical doctors who were able to actually offer me useful help or information. But I'm sure there are a few out there who are good at what they're supposed to do.

Glad to hear things are looking up takiniteasy. What did you actually do to your back? I didn't know hematomas could calcify, but I guess it kinda makes sense. Whoa - I better watch the lump on my shin. How long have you had it?
