Manny, what good would it do for me to move to Canada, I would never be able to return to the US because they would have warrants for my arrest. What is the payscale like there. Hey dont laugh Im thinking about it..

What field are you looking at ? basically it's not any different than most US states. In fact, Alberta pays very good money and they have a shortage. They need workers so badly.

You just learned three things:

- Dont get married. Fairy Tales belong to Disney World not to real life.

- You dont step on something when you have 56% of going up in smoke.

- Lawyers just like any professionals are in this bizz for the money, not your smile or the cup-size. They always discolse their fees so I guess it was no big secret for you.
That is extraordinarly good advice.

I wouldn't eat at a restaurant that made me sick 56% of the time either.

Darlin... money is irrelevant. Fortunes can be made and lost and made again in days. To be without ones children is costly beyond the realm of imagination, yet it happens every day. Doesnt it?

It's too late for you now.

Let me add how funny this thread is when gays are trying hard to get married and straights are running from the idea.

Well, even being a mean-spirited conservative, I'm all in favor of gay marriage.

Consider this: Gay men have the benefit of two incomes, less chance of experiencing child-rearing costs, and innate sense of style and save big bucks by doing their own interior decorating. The least we can do is saddle them with an institution like marriage just to break their momentum. Let's let them get married just to even things out :)

Actually... all kidding aside, I don't see what the big deal is. If they want to marry, so be it. If it takes two buff, stylish, culturally-astute guys of the market and leaves more womenz for me, so be it.

No, thats just my attorney bill. I gave her the house and all furniture and her mercedes. We had to sell the house and she had to sell her car. After all of the bills are paid I will still get around $30,000.00...

Dang. . .you're right. . .that's pretty stiff. Did you get a detailed bill?? That's like 8 or 9 (40 hour) weeks worth of work there. Your name Trump or sumthin'??

You are more of a libertarian than a conservative. To me conservatives are authoritarian, they have a very narrow, strict list of outside rules and regulations they expect others to follow. Libertarians are more into personal fulfillment/achievement and not saddling people for succeeding or helping them avoid self imposed failure. I am a social libertarian, but not an economic libertarian myself.

But it is funny that straights want to avoid marriage and gays want to get married. Its kindof like how we are so obsessed with fat and we constnatly diet and develop eating disorders while people in Africa starve. Irony.

Oh, I've known my libertarian leanings for some time. I'm massively pro-philanthropic ... yet anti-handout. Gotta love that.

Obesity is another example. I'm a pretty healthy person and try to stay in shape. My diet is pretty clean... I just wish I could cut-out the wine in the evening and my late night snacks. Having said all that, I oppose banning trans fats. I'm fine with making restaurants post their trans fat content, but if someone wants a Kentucky Fried Twinkie smothered in Gravy and heavy cream, so be it. (just don't make me pay for unclogging their arteries later :P)
