Fibet, Diet, and over all Well Being

I know Im a big advocate of Protein, Fat, some healthy fats and some unhealthy. But recently past week or so I have been experimenting with High Fiber, unrefined carbs as the bulk of my diet. Im still getting my 200 grams of protein a day, but have been dropping fat, adding carbs, and feeling better, looking better, and have a new spring in my step.

For example,
Breakfast 2 day was 2 Peices of 100% whole grain toast, sparyed butter spray on them, then I had 10 egg whites, cooked in a pan, let it form a omlette, placed bewteen the bread and enjoyed.
This meal was like 40 carbs, 8 grams of fiber, and 35 grams of protein

Lunch was Whole Wheat Pita, Healthy choice roast beef and fat free mayo

DInner last night was 1/2 can of Refried beans, fat free, whole wheat tortilla, and some low fat cheese. Probally 55 Grams of Carbs, 12 Protein 14 grams of fiber.

Now I poop just fine but all of this fiber has helped, I know it is cleaning toxins out of the body, lowering my cholestrol as well.

Just a thought

what's the result of your diet change ?

More/ less ebnergy ?
Better perf in the gym ?
Fat loss, weigh gain ?
 
man, that looks super simple. what kind of results have you been getting? also, got any more "examples"? i suck when it comes to culinary creativity. :p
 
Well Im crusing at about 6-8 % bodyfat, My workouts are better, more energy feel better, fat loss is staying the same, If I wanted to lose more weight reduce calories etc. My main point here is how Complex carbs, with loads of fiber can fill you up, give you energy, and not make you fat.
 
Always use Simple Sugars Postwork, Muscles need easy sugar and proteins post workout, its a MUST ASU :)
 
Well if your doing CKD, and digest complex carbs, then have a fatty meal 2 hours later, u might just have carbs, fats, and proteins running around, and you dont want to mix fat and carbs,
 
Having simple carbs (dex/malt) isnt bad for people that had binging problems?
because of insulin spike?
