I know Im a big advocate of Protein, Fat, some healthy fats and some unhealthy. But recently past week or so I have been experimenting with High Fiber, unrefined carbs as the bulk of my diet. Im still getting my 200 grams of protein a day, but have been dropping fat, adding carbs, and feeling better, looking better, and have a new spring in my step.
For example,
Breakfast 2 day was 2 Peices of 100% whole grain toast, sparyed butter spray on them, then I had 10 egg whites, cooked in a pan, let it form a omlette, placed bewteen the bread and enjoyed.
This meal was like 40 carbs, 8 grams of fiber, and 35 grams of protein
Lunch was Whole Wheat Pita, Healthy choice roast beef and fat free mayo
DInner last night was 1/2 can of Refried beans, fat free, whole wheat tortilla, and some low fat cheese. Probally 55 Grams of Carbs, 12 Protein 14 grams of fiber.
Now I poop just fine but all of this fiber has helped, I know it is cleaning toxins out of the body, lowering my cholestrol as well.
