If you Google Splenda & Insulin for instance, you will also get more hits about the controversy with Splenda arguing it is BAD BAD BAD ... I know JensCat & Daisy have posted some good reading or at least addressed the issue.Rhealite said:That is good to know. My hubby and I love the new Dasani water w/ lemon and we drink them all of the time now.

You know what supp should be invented a R-ALA idea for salt/sodium....
Now that would be HOT.
jenscats5 said:Oh! another thing........I'm leaning towards *taking with a grain of salt* the "studies" done showing negatives of Splenda as they were done by Big Sugar who is also suing the makers of Splenda over false advertising. Since Splenda is sugar's direct competition -- they are trying to shed a bad light on Splenda.
As long as you're not competing, I feel there's room for *some* Splenda and/or real sugar in an eating plan. As with everything, moderation is key. The BIG problem I have is that there's SO much *hidden* sugar in everything -- you really have to be careful....
