Fake Omnadren? Lot 51199

I just received omnadren amps with the Lot number and expiration date:
NrS: 51199
Dw: 11 2002

The lot and expiration dates are printed.. not stamped on the amps. There is a white line around the neck and no dot. There is nothing at the end of the pink line on the amp, from past posts I've read there's usually a v or something printed there.

So it seems to me like their fake, but I'm hoping that maybe since this lot is older than what I've seen posted, maybe amps from much older lots might be different than newer ones. I'm just keeping my hopes up considering I got them from a source that has a good reputation on the boards. Does anyone know for sure if I got fake stuff?

No dot is not a surprise. But did you say a ring around the neck? Do the amps look sort of short and "stubby" with wider bottoms than you'd expect, given the legit pics?

Nothing at the end of the pink stripe?

I'd say you got definite fakes, bro.

Of course, someone claiming vastly more knowledge that I might tell me that I am full of sh*t openly an on the board, but I've seen what you have.

And the guy who sold them to me apologized and compensated me.

Thanks for the input. I hate to agree with you, but they didn't look legit from the second I saw them. I have some legit Omna amps from a past cycle, in comparison, the ones I just received are much, much shorter.. I'm not sure about "stubby", but definitely shorter. Also, I opened an amp and tasted a quarter CC's worth, didn't numb my tongue at all.

I guess I'll write the guy that sold them to me and see if I can't get compensated.

Anyone else familiar with this lot? I'd like to get a few more opinions before I go complaining to my source.

First of batch number sounds pretty fantastic to me
they never start with 5 bro. For example I have new omnadren by Jelfa, its produced in year 2002. Batch number is: 20202.
New omnas always comes with a dot, they are not making omnas with a ring around the neck anymore.
Dex if you bought omnas with a ring from your supplier then it only means that you`re bad expert
Here is a picture of original omnadren produced in year 2002. Jelfa is now making new boxes which looks much better than the old ones:

Thanks for the responses. I talked to my source and he agreed that these are bunk... and agreed to send new goods. Good to know my source is a stand up bro.

I will ignore the sarcasm and insult (once again), as you increasingly seem to enjoy doing lately.

I was surprised to run across this post.

I will omit the supposed trusted person from whom I bought them (but got compensated) - and from others from whom I bought...simply bad gear.

No compensation, though. Bad business. Very. very bad business.

But that was a relatively long time ago...and yes, I will admit I was a "bad expert" because I trusted a person, and he was an amateur at the time, too, as I recall. And I got better, especially when I started lab testing and doing research.
